after reading some reviews of this hotel naturally we were concerned on arrival ...but fear not. On arrival, which was very simple following hotels directions from termini via metro and buses, we were greeted by polite, friendly and efficient staff. The rooms....more than big enough room with plenty of storage space, mini bar and tv with various channels from europe.... More

Generally the hotel is comfortable, but best of all was the friendly servant Antonio (Nabil) and Mr Alesandro, and the worst was the female receptionists. More

We've booked and payed this hotel a few months in advance. For the price we payed we got a super deal. Friendly staff, very helpfull with giving directions how to get to the city center. A lot of reviewers say that the hotel isn't in the center of Rome, but you know that when you book the hotel ! (We... More

We paid £225 pounds for the flight and hotel for two nights which was good value. From the airport we took the train to Termini (11 euros) and then the metro to Cornelia and bus 889 to the hotel (1 euro). On arriving we were able to check in earlier and the receptionist was friendly. The room was very clean and... More

Hotel looks good from the outside. Reception staff very friendly and speak good English. It was also a bonus to be able to check into our room in the morning. When I go to a 4* hotel in a major capital city, I do not expect to find glasses and litter lying in the swimming pool nor do I expect... More

The Hotel is to far out of the city to really enjoy the delights of Rome. When you arrive at Cornelia station it is a good 2 mile walk to the hotel. You can catch the 889 bus on via Bocca but after 7.00pm these seem to run irregularly. Also the walk back to the hotel is through a resedentail... More

My husband and I visited Rome last week and stayed in the Golden Tulip Hotel. Never again! On arriving in Rome we followed the instructions for getting to the hotel via the train and metro only to find ourselves in a most undesirable location trying to find a taxi or bus to take us to the hotel. We wandered around... More

We had booked our room and were travelling with two children - one 8 months old and the other 4.5 years old. We booked this specific hotel as it stated it had a bath and not just a shower. On receiving our room we got a room with a standing shower only. We went to the front desk and requested... More

Me and my girlfriend were advised to get the metro to Cornelia however upon arriving there we were completely lost - it was certainly not the 0.8km from the station as detailed on Lastminute.com more like 2.0km and even the taxi drivers struggled to know where it was (after we found a taxi driver!). There was one extremely rude lady... More
