Rooms on 3rd floor all have bathtube.Choose a room to the courtyard - quite area. AC switched of during the day. Then you could have the windows opened during... More

Hotel Archimede is located just 1 block away from the Central Station Termini. We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was very spacious, Also housekeeping is working well. Only negative thing was the missing shower curtains and old furnitures. When you take a shower the whole bathroom is getting wet which is totally nonsense. If they renew the... More

This hotel is conveniently located near the main train station (Termini) and it’s only a 15min walk from the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum. Near the hotel there are many places where you can eat not spending a lot of money, there is a supermarket open till late, many shops (at the Termini station). Our room was quite clean and... More

This hotel is conveniently located to the train station and around 15 to 20 minutes walk to the parthenon. It is good value for money but it is a small hotel with very small serviceable rooms that are good for a night sleep. The aircon is switched off during the day so a plus is that the room opened onto... More

The foyer gives a grand impression, which the rooms do not match up to, our room had most fixtures coming off even for plug sockets etc. and no way to work the heating or air con. The rooms walls were very thin, we could make out word for word conversation of the people next to us especially when they were... More

We stayed here for three days. All apart from location was pretty bad. Coffee for breakfast was pretty bad, there were youghurts but not nearly enough for everybody. Other food wasn't very good too. There was no wifi in the rooms and in the lobby it was more time not working than working. Fan in the bathroom was blowing dirty... More

We went to Rome in October 2013. The hotel has small and old rooms. The breakfast was average. The location is in Termini where all trains and metro goes. So transportation from that location is nice.

stayed at the Archimede on October 2nd for one night. room was fine but beds very hard. No shower curtain in bathroom thereby enabling water to splash everywhere, even into the room. On the plus side it was beside the Termini Station which suited us for ease of access to the airport on the following morning.

I have never been in the worst hotel. It has 4* but I am not sure how did they get it!? The rooms are very dirty and dusty. My towels smelled bad from the first day, and I don't believe that they have changed them even once for a four days. The food is disgusting. The hotel is near the... More

The hotel was very disappointing. Room was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. The hotel is very close to the Termini, but if you wish to walk to the center you will be walking for half an hour approximately. The room had no view of outside and had a bed smell. Air conditioning was noisy. There was no Wi-Fi in... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
