15 min. walking to Colosseo and Termini. Clean, comfortable place, home-like atmosphere, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, private bathrooms. Everything you need for a nice stay in Rome. I strongly recommend!

I stayed here with my two sisters for three nights and we stayed in a triple room which was comfortable and most importantly it was immaculately clean! The facilities available were good and it was very handy to have the fridge in the hallway where you pay your money to buy water etc and it was reasonably priced. Gabriel was... More

Went here with my partner. We are 20. We stayed in the dorm of 6 beds. The beds were cramped closely togetether but just 3 of us were sleeping there so it was actually great. I can imagine it would be very tight otherwise. The staff were brilliant, we made good friends with them and they were really friendly and... More

Spent 6 days in Rome this July and I tend to like switching my hostels or hotels every 2 days when traveling so I don't get too comfortable and can wake up in different sections of the city. After the first night with the incredibly friendly staff I had decided that I was going to be here for the entire... More

It was in a beautiful old neighborhood, a short walk to the coliseum and many restaurants and shops. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was a queen as we requested. They have a community kitchen and balcony off the kitchen that we used. The view was only a courtyard for parking. Also about a 7 to 10 minute... More

I spoke with Conte House one day before the arrival to Rome. We were informed, that everything is ok. We were surprised, that there is not free rooms in reserved hotel, so we got new room in Hotel Rudy and Rudy. Romm has no air conditioning, what is really bad in August temperatures in Rome. Last evening 50 EUR from... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
