No WiFi free! Not very safe neighborhood. Very good breakfast Friendly staff Close to Roma Termini Clean I think it is a very good place for couples you want to see Roma but you must be careful at night because the neighborhood its not too safe.. Breakfast with excellent croissants, smashed eggs, coffee, tee, bread, butter etc.. No WiFi free(5 euros for... More

Firstly, the hotel(s) look a bit huge and have way too big rooms. The stairway, on the other hand, is like in a labyrinth, and you're exhausted once you find your rooms which can also be hard. I was carrying my suitcase with a friend and our rooms were 336 and 337, but they were not in the same building!... More

We were grateful for the early check in as we had an early flight, got the bus from Ciampino airport to termini and were told by our travel company that it was a 10 minute walk from the termini, we actually walked for around 20 minutes. The area isn't very nice graffiti everywhere doesn't seem very safe and we were... More

i am currently staying here with my mum and nan in a 3 bed room. The room is an okay size as well as an average sized bathroom. With the breakfast there is a choice of cereal, eggs, croissants, ham, cheese, French toast packets as well as juice and hot drinks. I couldn't hear too much of the traffic outside... More

This hotel was ok not the best. I've stayed in better. The beds were ok the room lighting was very dark. Room was basic. The area hotel is isn't the best it's run down and horrible outside. Only good thing it was cheap deal I'll be upset if I over paid for this hotel. Would be a last resort to... More

The hotel was ok, it was clean and staff were helpful. But it was in a rundown horrible area (ghetto) and was not near termini station like the website said, was a 15 min walk. You would not be able to walk to the colosseum, but the metro was only 6€ a day. I would recommend staying in a nicer... More

This is a second rate hotel in a run-down area of Rome. Our room was so small we knocked our legs on the end of the bed getting to the bathroom. The shower head sprayed water in every direction but downwards and it took two bath towels to dry the floor as the shower unit let most of the water... More

Both my self and my other half have been to a few cities now and we stayed here about a year ago but this is still by far the worst hotel we have stayed at. We stayed in a dark, small room which was horrible from the get go but by our first evening there, after we came back from... More

What a dump. We had to stay here one night prior to starting a cruise, thank God it was only one night. Like others we had to haul our luggage from on hotel to the other who then charged us a 'local tax' fee of 8 euros for the privilege of staying there. The room certainly was tatty with broken... Had booked a twin room for my son & I for a mini break in Rome. Walked in to find a double bed. When I went to reception the guy said I had not booked a twin, he refused to look at the paperwork I had given him earlier which stated TWIN ROOM. Had to wait til next day for... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
