Ew, was the first thing that came to my mind right when I stepped in. I have been to much better hotels, some great, some not so much but every time you could at least enjoy your stay and the room didn't repel you from staying inside, it was welcoming. In this hotel however... Issues: - No free internet, have... More

The location is a bit far from the touristic attractions. You have to pay € 10 for Wi-Fi which doesn't work properly. The staff is not friendly: during the night the staff is sleeping and it takes sometimes 15 minutes before they answer the doorbell. It was very cold in the hotel. Bathroom contains lots of mold, some parts in... More

Although the previous reviews are not very encouraging, I confirm I have had a good time in this hotel. I have stayed there for a month and it really became my home, as I was for the first time in Rome and with no member of my family. Strong points: not far from the touristic objectives, if you like walking... More

This Hotel 's name is very Simple and can speak easily. So we can tell bus driver , or taxi driver quickly. The Hotel's breakfast is also simple, and can use coffee machine repeatedly in the morning time, 8AM to 10:30 or 11:00(!?) Bad thing for this Hotel is Roma's public road. As u see, Roma's public stret is very... More

It's very sad to say but this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Our travel agent recommend this hotel and booking.com had 4.5 star rating so we never looked at tripadvisor ratings. Our saga started with the receptionist saying that our room will not have hot water so we were OFFERED a night at a nearby hotel. I... More

I would have been disappointed had this been a youth hostel - for a hotel, this is very poor. Crarmped bathrooms, with peeling paint and mould. Rooms have basic, old and tattered furniture. Noisy nights from the street, in a dodgy area. Basic breakfast with lukewarm coffee machine. The one saving grace is that the staff are pleasant.

After reading some horror stories about this hotel we we rather anxious about this place. However, it was not as bad as it seemed. When we arrived we thought the reviews were right - Grafitti everywhere - I mean if there was a wall it had been scrawled on. But as we found out later this could be said much... More

The room was OK it was clean and even though we asked for a room on an upper floor we had the room in reception. However the staff were unhelpful. the only plus was the breakfast which was OK and plentiful. Wouldn't stay there again :-(

Poor signal at a charge. Ended up buying wifi from the hotel next door. Much better signal. Uncomfortable bed, poor shower, dirty walls in bedroom. No doors on shower, broken. Hotel location smells of stale urine & rubbish scattered. Poor.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
