We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel toward the end of a long journey.Being so close to all the sights we wanted to see was a bonus. Within walking distance, we were able to see the Frida Kahlo art exhibition - the fountain of trevi (under renovation) Spanish steps etc. on the same day. Brilliant! The staff, all of them,... More

The location was wonderful, but a little hard to find the first time (it's behind some sidewalk cafes and they've painted the facade white). It's between two metro stations and the walk from the Colosseum Metro station was only 5-10 minutes (depending on pedestrian traffic). I never imagined I would be staying that close to the Forum! The single room... More

We arrived too early to check in, however the friendly staff allowed us to use a room to freshen up. They stored away our luggage until our room was ready. This hotel is only a five minute walk to the forum and colosseum. There is four restaurants as soon as you step outside. A real little gem in the middle... More

We couldn't have asked for a better location in Rome, the Forum and Colosseum at your doorstep and everything else in walking distance. Loads of restaurants in the area. The staff were extremely helpful and even allowed us a room to freshen up in before our night flight. The room (202)was small and a little dark as the window was... More

We arrived at the Hotel Romano before check in, but they were kind enough to let us into our room early to freshen up. It is situated a stones throw from the colosseum and Palatino hill, right in the centre of historical Rome. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and all speak perfect English. The rooms are well presented... More

Location: Location is amazing,... More

We arrived to Hotel Romano by a car service who had a little trouble finding the hotel. However this was a good thing, it was tucked behind 3 outdoor restaurants which proved to be a salvation after walking all day. The hotel is perfectly located, a short walk to almost everything, minutes to the Colosseum. We opted to take a... More

Hotel Romano is the perfect choice for great customer service and superb location! Finding this lovely hidden gem was a wonderful surprise. Hotel Romano is extremely clean and secure. Was recommended by a friend, and would definitely recommend this place. while its not 5 star, its clean and adequate. It's a 5 minute walk to the colosseum/ roman forum and the colosseo metro station. Walking distance to most of the major attractions and taking a bus to the Vatican is rather straightforward (ask the reception staff). The hotel staff... More
