The Hotel was the perfect location to walk to all of the popular tourist sites. Colosseum and Forum were only a few blocks away. We saw all of the main tourist attractions and did not have to use public transportation, although it was nearby. The room was basic and very clean. Stayed here at the end of my vacation in Italy. The location is absolutely perfect, the breakfast charming, the staff friendly. My only complaint would be the bathroom tiles, which were not clean. Stll, when you consider the location and the modest price of the room, I would overlook the bathroom shortcomings and I would stay here again. more

We just returned from a week stay at the Hotel Romano. The location is about 2 blocks away from the coluseum and right across the street from Imperial Roman Forum.
