My wife and I stayed at Hotel Giardino for 7 nights while we toured Rome. It is an intimate B&B that is walking distance from most of the sights and museums. There is great dining all around. Our room was big enough for the two of us, with an adequate bed and shower. We were served cereal, yogurt, excellent coffee... more

The staff at Hotel Giardino made our first trip to Rome wonderful. The rooms were clean and all of our needs were met. Views and location were also very convenient. I would recommend the hotel to all travelers. Thanks to all the staff! more

Wow, what a hotel! The staff are a real asset in any hotel you stay in and the staff at Hotel Giardino went above and beyond their call of duty with information and advice for us! The rooms were absolutely spotless (and quite spacious considering the size of some of the shoeboxes you encounter in any European city!) The Colloseum,... more

This hotel is at a very central location. We met up with a Roman friend and he commented on what a great location it is. It's right on the #64 and #40 bus line, which goes to St Peter's and is a great way to get across town. The room was simple, no luxuries. The bathroom was relatively new and... more

Hotel Giardino was a charming little hotel right within walking distance to just about everything. This was the only hotel on our 4 week trip to Italy that had a quiet and functioning air conditioning and it was the least expensive. The rooms were small, but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highy recommend this hotel. more

spent 5 nights here... location is AMAZING. centrally located and an easy walk to every major site that you want except the vatican, which has an easy bus that has a stop literally around the corner. rooms are small but perfectly fine. nice staff. very clean. only annoyance is if too many people put the AC too high, it blows... more

My husband and my two teenage girls spent three days in Rome before taking a cruise. I'm very glad we stayed at Hotel Giardino. The service was excellent. The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. The front desk had someone on duty at all times. You leave your key with them when you leave your room. It was... more

Staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting excellent restaurants and tips on transportation. Rooms were ok, but small bathroom. Decent breakfast. Less than 10 minute walk to Colloseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain. more

Just returned a week ago from our trip to Italy. We stayed four nights at the Hotel Giardino and I am so glad we did. You can't beat the location. We walked to most every location we were interested in seeing such as the Trevi Fountain, Colliseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and the Spanish steps. Easy to reach the metro or... more

We chose this 3-star hideaway based on Rick Steves’ recommendation. His positives about the hotel are right on the money: cost, location, and friendy staff. For Rome, the cost is extremely affordable. Location was central – we walked everywhere. And the two gentlemen we dealt with over our two-night stay were exceptionally helpful and friendly. There were none of the... more
