The room was small, cramped, and dark. Staff were unhelpful and rude. We were charged city tax for our 2 small children and given a bogus receipt. We confronted hotel staff but were rudely dismissed and were never refunded.

We stayed 3 nights there. It's a bit in a remote area, but walking distance to Termini which is convenient. We had a room for 5 people and it was tiny and very tight. We had no space for our luggage and to walk around. The bed were old and not very comfy. The bathroom was old as well. The... More

Really good location in a secure block and comfortable room. The staff Marco and Simon were friendly, very accomodating and helpful. The hotel is situated near Termini station and near good/cheap shops and restaurant. Wifi line free inside the room.

The hotel is close to the center and the central station. Some of the reception speaks english, especially Marco e Simona; helpfull and honest. Location very good for families and couple, close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Comfortable rooms at the first floor, nice terrace. Prices very good.

The concierge are very helpful and very nice except they do not speak English thus poor communication with non-Italian speaking guest makes it more complicated at times. I hope they will try to have an interpreter atleast on stand-by. Nice place to stay specially for backpackers. Value for money was excellent.

When we arrived at Hotel Felice, we were told that we would have to stay at another hotel, which was nothing more than a rooming house - which we did not accept. They eventually admitted that they had lost our booking and booked us into another hotel. We received, and continue to receive, emails from Hotel Felice in regards to... More

We stayed five nights at the hotel during September 2014. Food location area close to Termini. Our room at the first floor was pretty good and very clean. Cool area, nice café accross the road, nice pizzeria close to the hotel. Staff in the reception desk was very helpful and cheerful. There is a quite & pleasant terrace at the... More

I have been at Hotel Felice for 4 days. I could not choose better than this. The room is a little bit small but pretty clean. There is also a kettle and a cup to have tea on the terrace or in the room. The receptionist and the director are really welcoming.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
