Plus: family business hotel, friendly staff, clean bathroom and room, location. Close to the public transportation especially bus 71 and metro stop Vittorio Emanuele about 500 meters from Termini train station. The hotel is located in the nightlife area San Lorenzo.

We spent 10 days at the hotel felice, from May 10 to May 20 2015. Compared to other hotels in Rome, the price is ok, the hotel is clean, it is close to transportation so you can get to the center of Rome easily (although we mostly walked). The service is weak. When the owner's son is manning the counter,... More

For our honeymoon in Rome in may 2015 we book the Hotel Felice. We choose 1 of the Superior double room and was perfect for our stay: new and cozy bathroom, clean and comfortable. Good location in the heart of Rome, 5 minutes walk from Vittorio Emanuele metro stop or Termini train station. Simona at the reception was great. Thanks!

We visit the Hotel Felice for the second time, really good location in a real roman area, just out of the historical centre. Check in in the late night was ok and free. Friendly owner and reception staff. Our room for 4 people was fine, clean and comfortable. Was convenient to take bus 71 to go to/from Trevi fountain.

We stay 4 nights in this hotel close to the historical center in Rome. Our room, the numer 13 was new and cozy, new modern bathroom with big shower. The location was super, close to Termini station and public transportations. Plus: the afternoon staff, Marco and Simona were super!

You can hear people talking and walking from the hotel. In their website they don´t specify that the bathroom is shared. There´s a small information about it. They only have two rooms with private bathroom and that´s the only picture they show on their website. Also, some of the attendants are very rude and don´t try to be nice or... More

Good experience in this family business hotel in Rome's downtown. Good and clean family room standard. Close to the Termini station in a safe student area. Supermarket, pizzeria restaurants close to the hotel. Marco at the reception was a good reception.

Good size room for 2 people, comfy beds and good breakfast in the park. Location in San Lorenzo was ok, a real not tourist area of central Rome. Friendly staff at the reception, Marco and Simona the best! Our room was clean and good private bathroom.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
