The hotel was in a good location - within walking distance of Termini, the main station so had good links to buses, trains and trams. The local area was also fairly good, with the hotel being close to a supermarket and several restaurants. The room was a very comfortable size and was very clean. The staff were all very friendly... Perfect downtown hotel in Rome city center. Good rate for a double room in the back side. Small but clean bathroom and new modern room. The reception staff was friendly and helpfull. San Lorenzo area was a fantastic location, close to the public transportation and restaurant, supermarket 100 meters.

We stay five nights at this downtown hotel in the center of Rome. Family run hotel close to Termini train station, two 71 bus stops. Our double rooms on the first floor(room 13) was modern and cozy, new and clean. Bathroom well Fournished and new. Marco at the reception was super.

+ The location was good, the Termini station was in the near, and there was a lot of restaurants and shop in the near. The breakfast was tasty. The terrace was beautiful and comfortable. - The receptionists are very very rude and impolite and they don't even speak English... They are disgusted, if you talk to them in English and... More

The rooms were modern and clean. Short walk from Termini train station, location was marvelous, this area is famous for the local restaurant, where the Romans eat, just outside the hotel try the pizzeria il Grano. Marco and Simona at the reception were wonderfull. Thanks.

The location isn't too bad, 10 minute walk to termini. The staff at the front desk are lovely HOWEVER do NOT leave anything valuable in your room! I had a €50 note stashed in my locked bag and the room was cleaned while I was out and came back it was gone! Do not trust the cleaners what so ever!... More

We visited Rome in May and we stay in the Hotel Felice. Excellent family hotel in Rome's downtown, five minutes from Termini station and Vittorio emmanuele metro stop. For the honeymoon we choose a double room superior and was much more then we expect for the cheap rate. Great service staff at the reception desk. Thanks to Marco e Simona.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
