It was horrible experience. Moisture in the walls and in the bathroom and terrible smell. I got the feeling to sleep with my clothes on. The area is good though. you can reach everything by foot. Near piazza Barberini and Via Venetto. It's a pity that they haven't invested in the rooms to make them more cozy.

I had a single room which was small and so rudimentary that at first i was a bit shocked. On the other hand i noticed that it had everything that i needed and that even everything that was offered was with a sense of respect. In short: everything that you need is here. Also the family that provides these rooms... More

Booked to stay here for 5 nights was so bad left after 2. This is not a hotel. It was advertised as a hotel but is in fact a room in some old lady's house. The old Italian lady uses every chance to let out her anger on the guests staying in her home. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in August 2013. The rooms are extremely reasonably priced considering their excellent location in the centre of Rome. Naturally, the luxury of the room reflects the price; if you expect 5-star accommodation, this is not the place for you! The bathroom in particular is very basic and I felt the shower was... More

Last november I was there for one night, I booked double bedroom. The quality of everything was good enough, starting from cleanliness and service. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from Termini Station. The hotel is very easy to find. In my room there wasn't private bathroom, just one to share with others. I got towels, shower gel. We can't use... More

Location is not perfect. It is far from metro station and 10 -15 min by walk to the nearest bus station. Here is quite noisily: we heard what our neighbors talks about in the nearest room. However, the rooms and bathroom were clean. Also, in front of the hotel is really awesome italian gelateria :)

Great location, we managed to walk everywhere we wanted to visit from the hotel! Owner was friendly and welcoming. Rome is an expensive city to stay in, and if we had paid the same price in any other place we would have been very disappointed, but this is the capital! We took an ensuite room, but the shower and toilet... More

We had a good stay here and were really pleased with this hotel, particularly as we were on a budget and the cost of staying here was comparable with hostels. We were the only people staying in the hotel at the time, in February 2012 and during a particularly cold snap. The shared bathroom was very clean and had a... More

The hotel is about 1 km away from Termini station in a quiet street. For what you pay the rooms are of good value, spacious and clean. Our toiletflusher didn't work properly though, but fortunately there was an other toilet in the hallway. The bathroom (en suite) was tiny, so small you could good barely move in the shower, but... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
