I chose the balcony room. Very clean room and helpful staff. The room was very big with a double bed. The receptionist marked for me all the vegetarian items on the take-away menu and they will order your food from another restaurant and deliver it to you room. Wifi access was good. Good location for Universita Cattolica - around 12... More

My husband and I, on 28th Nov 2012, had a 3 night pre-cruise stay at this hotel and found it to be very clean and friendly. Reception was very helpful and spoke good English. Our room had a balcony, which would have been improved by some seating, but it suited us as smokers, as this is a non-smoking hotel. The... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in November. Great time of year to go, less tourists, not many queues for anything and weather was nice and mild. On arrival, after a lot of travelling, we were told there was some sort of a water problem and that we would have to spend our first night in another... More

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and we had mixed feelings. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly, but the standard rooms where we were staying, were too small. It was nearly impossible to open the door to the balcony and also the shower was very small. My husband could barely move when he took a... More

Very loud hotel, in a busy chaotic area of town. The area is insane! Tiny single beds in a tiny room, felt like I was sleeping on a small cot (or camping) Extremely old worn bed comforters, disgusting (see pics) Had problems with the air conditioner They turn a/c off at night. So you sweat to death. It was in... More

Nothing against the Hotel itself, but just out of all great touristic areas. As titlet, it is very convenient if you have to be nearby the Gemelli Hospital, or at the Congress Center in the Hospital (my case). The hotel is clean calm, air conditioned, free Wifi, courtesy staff, so nothing against the Hotel.

Hotel Sisto V is a comfortable and clean hotel with very nice updated bathrooms. It is not a resort type of hotel with a lot of amenities but offers a good base when returning from a full day of sightseeing. The hotel is located in the north west section of Rome....more suburbia than city. There are shops and a pharmacy... More

May be some people like this place but we didn't. Some reasons: - bad value for money - rooms are old, especially WCs - very Far from city center, we spent about 40 min by light train. My advise - look for the places closer to the city center.

Although the hotel is a little far out of town I thought it was excellent value for money. The only downside was the breakfast.

The hotel is far from the center, there are few public transport at night, and my room was very small. The breakfast was ok, and the employees were friendly, but had some problems speaking English. The Hotel Sisto V is close to the Vatican I recommend a hotel closer to the center.
