It was a very secluded street in a bustling city, the rooms were a good size, but the noise from the corridors echoed through the rooms at night i.e. coins dropping on the corridor could be heard in the bedroom. The breakfast was great, and the lift was an old fashioned antiquated piece of history. The hotel owned at least... More

It was nice and away from the tourist areas which meant better prices and less noise but still walking distance to a train station and walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe. For the price of one apartment that only had 1 room with a 2nd bed in the kitchen, we got two nice hotel rooms with A/C and free... More

I booked this hotel for my daughter and myself following reviews on trip advisor. It is small and excellent value for money. Breakfast was really excellent as was the service during our stay 26-28 October, 2014. It was an easy walk from the Termini and there are lovely restaurants nearby. From here it is easy to start making your way... More

We spent 3 days in Rom ( 17-20.11.2014) and after looking through different reviews on trip adviser we decided to stay in Piave and it was a good decision! The hotel is only 5 min walk from the railway station Termini, located in a calm street, on the second floor of 5-floor house, so don't miss it, while walking along... More

We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The rooms are not big enough, but it really dosn't matter. When you are in Rome you are not staying in the room, longer than a sleep so the size of the room is not a big deal! Very clean hotel and rooms! Both guys were helpful and gave us good suggestions... This hotel is a hidden gem, located through a beautiful entry above a block of a apartments. The hotel is centrally located, allowing us to walk to lovely restaurants and to the city buses for exploring main attractions in Rome. Hotel owners Giorgio and Lucia were welcoming and generous in their efforts to make us comfortable. Our room was spotlessly... More

My husband and I spent two days in Rome, and wanted to see everything we possibly could of the city in that short amount of time. Albergo Piave is in an excellent location. Within walking distance or a short bus ride to all of the must see sites. Giorgio welcomed us warmly, and graciously made our room available to us... More

Stayed in the Albergo/Hotel Piave in August 2014. The hotel is in a block of flats but I found it easily enough. The room was nice and the addition of a fridge was most welcome, the air conditioning came in very handy. The bathroom was very nice. Our room was not ready on arrival as we were a bit early... We booked Albergo Piave based on reviews and were delighted to check in on our first day in Rome. Fantastic welcome and a lovely little room in a great location. Not on the main drag but an easy walk for us to the main attractions. Unfortunately, when walking through Rome on our first afternoon I had an accident and sprained... More

Despite the fact we checked in late (nearly 9pm) and were welcomed with a smile. I didn't realise this hotel was actually a floor in a block of flats but once we figured that out it was easy! Close to Termini and the metro stops. The host gave us great tips for where to go for dinner (Al Forno Pizzeria... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
