The hotel was right next door the Termini's station which was a huge help for us to get around the city. The staff is really friendly but although we had an wi-fi connection, the Internet connection was really really bad, I mean inexistent bad. I informed the staff about it but they told me since it was on a weekend... More

Location is fantastic especially when you need to use both Rome airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino with a short stay in Rome. Owner and staff very helpful, breakfast which was included in the price was more then enough and the most important for my stay, luggage were kept safe in the hotel after check out free of charge. Ready to stay... More

The most positive about this hotel is its location.Right behind the termini station. As for the room,I was a solo traveler and it was exactly what I expected for.Just a bed and a bathroom with hot water all the time.Clean enough but not perfectly, the wifi was working very nice and the staff was friendly enough.

This is not one of the better hotels in the Via Marsala area. Granted it is opposite Termini and is therefore very conveniently placed but that's about its only good point. The staff were rude and unhelpful when we arrived - my wife tried to get a cup of coffee out of the machine in their entrance lobby. The money... More

Bang in the centre of Rome, right in front of Termini Station. It was easy to find, booking in order, room spotless, wifi worked well, breakfast filling and very pleasant and helpful staff. Just got back home after a wonderful stay at Hotel Mirage. Highly recommendable.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay in this part of town unless it was easy access to the train station. I stayed here for one night before flying to London and the area is just a little bit dodgy. The hotel was average, my room was large but the bed was tiny and the air conditioning and... More

Cheap price right next to termini train station. Really disinterested staff and the bathroom is a bit grubby but it's cheap by Rome prices. Good area for cheap food as well. Not the most authentic but still tasty.

The staff who were working on reception (i am assuming they were the owners), they were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We arrived early and our room was not ready. As we were only staying one night we were eager to start seeing the city, they offered to keep an eye on our bags. Unfortunately we were staying in the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
