The hotel is located quite close to the Termini station, with easy access to all kinds of public transport. It is also close to some of the Rome's historical objects. The Colosseum is less than 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is old and the furniture is outdated. The reception and the entrance to the rooms are... More

This hotel needs a lick of paint. Stairway and lift not very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.Ideally situated for trains and buses. Mangrovia restaurant next door is brilliant 15 euros for 3 course meal.

This place is really close to the Roma Termini train station. We stayed one night as we just needed a place to stay before flying out. Overall it served its purpose and the free breakfast was edible. The fact that I get decent cheese and meat and freshly made espresso coffee make the breakfast acceptable to me. The room is... More

It has good location but rest is so so bad! One of receptionists told us the bed can't split in two (coz we're two men don't wanna sleep together) but we realised it could! They didn't changed our towels and sheets for 2. day and when i called reception the same woman told me they don't change it daily, If... More

Poor room service..disgusting breakfast and room is very small. Air con doesn't work and it's a real pain in summer. Really needs a good renovation. Would not recommend the hotel to anyone. Staffs are average. The most annoying part of it is the noise from outside

The hotel was right next door the Termini's station which was a huge help for us to get around the city. The staff is really friendly but although we had an wi-fi connection, the Internet connection was really really bad, I mean inexistent bad. I informed the staff about it but they told me since it was on a weekend... More

Location is fantastic especially when you need to use both Rome airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino with a short stay in Rome. Owner and staff very helpful, breakfast which was included in the price was more then enough and the most important for my stay, luggage were kept safe in the hotel after check out free of charge. The most positive about this hotel is its location.Right behind the termini station. As for the room,I was a solo traveler and it was exactly what I expected for.Just a bed and a bathroom with hot water all the time.Clean enough but not perfectly, the wifi was working very nice and the staff was friendly enough.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
