Stayed for 4 nights. What a find! For a city hotel it was excellent value and had the bonus of a great pool which we were very glad of after a hot days sight seeing. We loved location as it was out of main city in the oldy worldly area of Trastavere. Nice and quiet compared to centre of Rome.... More

We had room on the first floor (i added some pictures of the room), no toilet seat, wallpapers falling down. Men at the front desk was very rude and just did not care to help with anything. If we asked the wifi passwords they would not even ansver or say "here you are" "ok" you are welcome" nothing. By the... More

Don't believe the negative reviews on here. Ok the hotel would benefit from a bit of a touch up but only cosmetically. The major benefit is the lovely pool area, yes you have to wear a swimming cap so take your own or buy one from the life guard for €3. After a hard morning of sightseeing there is no... More

It's a very nice hotel. The room was small, but very clean and tidy. Nice view of the city. The restaurant has a nice setting, on the pool, so it was lovely to sit and enjoy the meal. The meal was nor good, nor bad, not much to remember.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel del Gianicolo for one night and must say that the experience did not live up to the expectations. The location and exterior of the hotel is very nice, but once you step inside the hotel disappoints. The staff was not attentive or especially welcoming and the interior of the hotel is worn down. The... More

Lovely stay in Rome, the perfect hotel for our needs. Staff were all very friendly. Hotel was exceptionally clean with daily change of towels. When we arrived late after a long journey the meal in the restaurant was great. Waitress was brilliant very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the pool guy who provided a stable arm for an elderly... More

Absolutely loved this hotel. The pool is fantastic and the service was excellent. I had a room facing the pool that was quiet and very comfortable. This hotel is located outside the city center in a neighborhood. There is a little bar behind the hotel and a restaurant around the corner both worth a visit.

Our plan was to stay at the Pulitzer Hotel for the first three days and then retire to a hotel with a swimming pool in order to relax for the latter part of our week in Rome. This is why we found ourselves checking into the Gianicolo. We stayed at the Gianicolo for four nights and I have to say... More

Had a really lovely stay at the Grande. Nice family room and great customer service. However it is pretty far out from the city centre. It says it's about a 15 minute walk to the Vatican however it's really nearer 25-30 minutes. In the heat we never even tried the walk back. Taxis are plentiful but don't agree a price... More

Booked over a year ago for a visit with a group of friends. On arrival found the hotel sporting a 50's glamour feel with green marble floors throughout and Venetian glass staircase. The reception staff were very helpful and we were given a corner room on the second floor overlooking the front courtyard (207). Compact but clean with a shower,... More
