Located in the heart of Rome this was a great place for our group of 24. Adele and staff are very accommodating, and do everything possible to make you feel at home. Breakfasts were very good and had a good variety. And the recommendations for restaurants were spot on with great family style meals and atmosphere. Pricing was very fair... More

We stayed here this week for 7 nights. The hotel is small and located on a quiet street. It is minutes from many main attractions in Rome such as Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps), the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Novono. While being centrally located, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. The double glazing means that you can shut out... More

Friendly helpful staff but wifi in rooms not the greatest. Wifi worked in lobby. Great location many attractions in walking distance. Safe to walk at night. Nice terrace with great view . We were a family of four and found the room very accommodating and nice size washroom. Breakfast was ok, many sweets to choose from.

My family and I stayed here for three nights. A nice hotel. Although a bit run down. The staff was very friendly. Typical Italian breakfast. You'll either love it or hate it. Eating cake for breakfast just isn't my thing. Great rooftop terrace. The location and the friendly staff is this hotels best features. And if you've got an interest... More

We stayed 4 nights at this small and very friendly hotel. It is located just above the Spanish steps in a rather quiet street. It is a short walk to the shopping district and plently of restaurants nearby. We stayed the first night in a big room with 4 beds, all comfortable, and a renewed bathroom. Due to a minor... More

Great hotel. Our family stayed there for three nights in July, 2014. The location is fantastic - close to every major attraction. Walk to Spanish steps, and all major landmarks, and hop on hop off bus stop two minute walk. The staff was fantastic - from the front desk with helpful suggestions on how to get around city, restaurant suggestions,... More

Dear Guest, we thank you very much!! especially for the appreciation at our breakfast. We pay a lot of attention to respect the Italian tradition with our creamy cappuccini, and our greedy cakes, that are so popular in the world. Best regards to your lovely family. More

Travelled with the family to Rome for a few days to catch the sightseeing. Concur with others that the hotel is excellently positioned, Colesseum and the Vatican are the likely furthest things you'll want to visit, and they are both within 30 min walk. The rest is within that arc. Breakfast was a bit interesting, not having been to Rome... More

Came driving in to Rome in the afternoon, parked the car and went straight into Hotel Cecil. They had a vacant room for three people and they were very helpful. They showed us all the things we had to see. One surpricing thing; they have a roof terrace! The staff was very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom was... More

After arriving in Rome & arriving @ the hotel we booked from home we were totally shattered by the staff & horrified by the state of the room. After a walk to the Spanish Steps we literally stumbled on the Hotel Cecil. What a find. The owner Lydia & receptionist Daphne couldn't have been more helpful giving us a choice... More

We stayed here in late May for a few days on a tour of Italy. The hotel is on a small street so not accessible by bus but very close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean. Rooftop lounge area gives you a nice place to hang if you're feeling a little crowded in this busy city.
