Perfection! We stayed 4 nights at the hotel last week and were truly delighted with our choice of hotel. The villa-style suits us well, the quality of accommodation is as you would expect - superb!. The staff is excellent, helpful and efficient. Breakfast is simple, but just what we required. We walked to all of the sites and attractions, excepting... More

We visited Rome for 5 days as a wedding anniversary treat in the week before Easter, staying at the Hotel Aventino. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the city and its sights but away from the relentless noise and bustle that is modern Rome. Our stay could not have been nicer. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, the... More

My wife and I along with our daughter and Grand daughter stayed here for 4 nights. It is a lovely small hotel in a quiet location but close to many of the major attractions. We were in rooms 334/5 just across the courtyard from the main building. The accommodation was fine but both rooms could do with a little TLC... More

The Aventino hotel is situated on one of the loveliest hills in Rome .In late March when we went the Orange Garden nearby was abundant with fully ripened oranges and from these same walled public gardens next to the beautiful 5th century church of Santa Sabina, there were glorious views right across Rome to St Peter's ,especially as the sun... What a great way to start our Italian Holiday staying at the Aventino Hotel - a very quiet beautiful part of Rome but within walking distance of Metro and Colosseum etc - this was particularly important as I ran the "Maratona di Roma" which started and finished near the Colosseum. Nearby is Santa Sabina church with a pretty orange garden... More

This hotel was amazing! It almost feels like you are staying in a little house in Rome, since the hotel is around a quiet residential neighborhood with beautiful houses. Great location, 15 minute walk to Circo Massimo and about 20 mins to Coliseum. The staff is extremely nice, my favorite part was the balcony the room had and the amazing... More

I've stayed at Hotel Aventino several times. It's perfectly located in central Rome, easy to get to and amazingly in a very quiet residential neighborhood that blessedly is very quiet at night. If you have sights to see in downtown Rome this is an excellent place to stay. Always high quality from the rooms to the breakfast. The staff has... More

Our Roman friends nod approvingly when we say we are staying at the Aventino, It's up the hill of the same name, and in a quiet neighbourhood, still not far from the activity around the Circo Massimo, Rome's ancient race track. The hotel is small, quiet and comfortable, although some might find rooms on the small side. In good weather... More

Overall there is simply nothing to complain for the money we paid. Location is perfect - close to by not in the middle of hustle and bustle of tourist centre.
