Though the location was great, you paid extra for it in ways you might not imagine. There are no, I mean NO, dining values near the Colosseum. We paid too much for rude service because our children were hungry and couldn't wait. The hotel itself is perfectly situated but, with no air conditioning, it was miserable to stay in. more

We arrived at the hotel only to find out that they had overbooked our room (that we had already paid for) and that we had to drag our stuff back up the street to another hotel for one night. We then had to check of that hotel long before Solis had a room for us. We sat in their lobby... more

First of all, we had read reviews saying that this hotel will send you to its sister hotel on the other side of town, but we thought if we emailed in to confirm our reservation we could avoid being shipped across town.
