The room was big, and comfortable, cleaned regularly. Air con was welcome in the Rome heat. Staff were helpful when we wanted to print out our tickets, they also provided some drinks in the fridge for our arrival. Breakfast was ok, in a small room. The lift was tiny but useful - be aware that this Hotel is on the... More

We stayed at Hotel Azzurra for 4 nights in September. The hotel itself is neat, with a small breakfast room and amazing cappuccino's. The room is spacious, we had a triple share, however the bathroom is tiny. There is a portable air-con for those hot and humid Roman days. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The hotel is situated... More

If you stay at this hotel you may be charged 126 Euros by the Rome police for driving there. And the hotel will NOT help you. This hotel came under new management at the start of 2014 and has since taken a huge nosedive in terms of customer service to the point of being offensive and abusive. I recently received... More

we spent 3 nights here last week and it was our second visit to this fantastic hotel from Ireland. The room was cool and spacious in 30 degrees roman summer heat outside. The kids loved the quaint lift. The staff are just lovely, so helpful and friendly. It was great that they remembered me and my daughters from 2.5 yrs... More

Great location-really close to Trevi fountain and all the major tourist attractions. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Free postcards too. WIFI works really well. Breakfast could be a little better. Some cheese or ham with the roll would be a lot more satisfying. Also breakfast area is really small. Shower is a little small but we only stayed for... More

I stayed with two friends and we found the triple room to be fine. The location is really good, we were able to walk almost everywhere - we only took a metro/taxi to Vatican, Colosseum and Trastevere. Palazzo Barberini is only a few hunder metres away and well worth a visit. Staff were helpful and friendly. They arranged our taxi... More

Hotel in the centre of Rome, close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Although in the centre there is no noise of the traffic, the service is excellent, very friendly staff, beside Italian they also speak English, nice Italian breakfast.

Really satisfied with our decision to stay here. The staff were lovely, the rooms were a good size, breakfast was included, and the location could be better. It was only a 5/10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum! The Hotel sent a taxi to collect us from the... More

Stayed for 4 nights in April 2014. First trip to Rome and the location was excellent. Really central with both St Peters and the Colosseum only a 20/25 min walk away. Also close to the beautiful trevi fountain. Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival they gave us a map and highlighted the main attractions,... More

We stayed at the Hotel Azzurra last July 2013. We were traveling with our 2 adult children for 3 days prior to a cruise. Hotel Azzurra is one of the few places that has 1 double bed and 2 twin beds in one room. Considering Europe's usual small rooms the accommodations were great and more than adequate size. This hotel... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
