My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Azzurra for a week and we loved it. The management are really cool and were so helpful with many great suggestions as to what to see and do in Rome. The rooms are a nice size. The place is not super fancy, but has an old school Italian charm to it that we... More

The location is very central and everything you need is in the local area. The double room was actually 2 single beds pushed together, but they were comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but there is plenty of hot water. The intake for the A/C goes through the open balcony door, so the room gets very hot at night. The hotel... More

I had a great experience here. I was traveling Rome Solo on a budget and Azzurra delivered. It is without many of the amenities that a large hotel would provide like full continental breakfast, pool, etc. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in location. It is walking distance to the Vatican and the Colosseum. I felt as... More

Stayed in Hotel Azzurra, Rome, in June '15. Very nice, basic hotel, situated on the third floor of the building. Fantastic location!! Suicide lift was funny although quite challenging if your hands are full with luggage or shopping. It can only take two people at a time maybe three at a very tight squeeze. Overall, we were happy with our... More

Stayed here for 3 nights & would recommend this hotel. Basic but very central. Close to Trevi fountain & the Spanish steps. Friendly staff & clean room. Air conditioned too. The suicide elevator is an experience!

Hotel is strategically located near Trevi area which has a lot of good resto's and pizzeria's. It was our 1st time in Rome and the stay in this hotel made our experience truly unforgetable. The friendly staff guided us which good places to eat plus the best routes to take when seeing Rome's historical sites. Osteria Romana which is near... More

We stayed in Hotel Azzurra for three nights. It is located in a small street and in the building there are several hotels. Azzurra is located on the third floor. The elevator is on the right when you enter the building. It is an ancient and very tiny elevator with suicide doors. ;-) Make sure you close the outside door... More

Fantastic and clean hotel with great location. Fontana di trevi 5 min by walk. Staff was friendly and provide useful information about the city center. Breakfast could be a little better because the breakfast area is really small. It was perfect for our needs and for that price we were very good! I would recommend it!

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
