We stayed there 3 nights. Hotel had friendly staff, nice and clean room for us, every day clean up, working wifi, room with balcony and near to the city centre. The elevator was old and very small, but it worked. I'm glad it did, because our room was at 6th floor. We had a bit noisy people at the hotel... More

Excellent location. Very close to two metro stations (Cavour and Termini). 5min walk from the Colloseum and other tourist spots. The hotel was very clean and the people at the reception very friendly and eager to help with any query. The room was spatious and had all necessary amenities. Just behind the hotel, it is one of the most beautiful... More

After checking several hotels we booked with Hotel Centro Cavour because we wanted somewhere near the coliseum, Foro Romano, Palatino... we couldn't have chosen better place. Easily within walking distance of most things you'd want to see. Just under a mile from Termini station and a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum; even walkable from the Vatican. The receptionist was helpful and spoke enough English to be helpful and make us feel welcome. We were able to check in early to drop our... More

The service is amazing, both receptionist are very friendly and helpful and they always made an effort to understand and speak in your language (in our... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
