Great hotel, great location, very helpful staff! This was our first visit to Rome and the location made visiting all the sites very easy. The rooms are basic but very clean and well looked after. Tea, coffee and complimentary bottled water every day. We had a room on the sixth floor with a balcony, but be advised, the lift only... More

Our room at the Hotel Centro Cavour was quite basic, however, was very comfortable and exceptionally clean and tidy. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helped to ensure that our stay was very good. The location of the hotel for us was ideal. A very short walk to the colosseum. You could then walk beyond this landmark safely... More

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Besides the fact that the mattress and pillow could have been more comfortable, everything else was great. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean, and they have a coffee/hot chocolate machine that you can use at any time for free. They don't serve breakfast, but for... More

The staff - Giorgio, Doru and Daniela - were very helpful in giving directions, and explaining what to do when I was unfortunately pickpocketed on the Metro. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. A good base for exploring, especially for the Colosseum/Forum area. Hotel rooms on the second floor - there is a small lift but not recommended for anyone with mobility... More

Very clean hotel, very friendly staff, safe, everything ok. Location exceptional. Just one problem with the toilet, if you stay at the 6th floor there is no presure. And they don't have a restaurant , but there are plenty around. Would stay there again.

This place is in a great location and it's extremely clean and well maintained. If you're coming in the summer, the rooms have air conditioning and a fridge. Every day they even replaced the complimentary water bottles to keep us hydrated on our adventures. It's probably a 5 minute walk to the coliseum and it's right by the "B" line... More

A fantastic location! The colosseum is literally around the corner with the ruins at the bottom of the street! Other attractions such as the Trevi Fountain within walking distance. We managed to see everything we wanted to in Rome in just 3 days with hardly any travel costs apart from one taxi to the Vatican City which cost a mere... More

So... was there in Sept. 2015. This hotel isn't fancy at all so don't expect luxury. However, it was clean, centrally located, steps from the Colliseum, great food and shopping. The front desk people were fantastic! They were pleasant and helpful. When I asked where I could go out to buy a plug form my phone (like an idiot I... More

We're here for 3 nights, and I'm writing this review on night one. The scoop - this hotel is located right in the middle of Via Cavour (hence the name) which is a hotel and restaurant lined street running from the Forum up to the Termini station. It's a good location if you're interesting in spending a lot of time... More
