Awful awful experience here! Checked in to be given a very poor room, smelt, dirty walls, floors and windows! Lamps not working cracks in mirrors rusty towel rails, filthy dirty grubby shower sink and general bathroom went to ask to be moved and greeted by a pleasant man who apologised and said he could not do anything untill the morning!... Flavia is close to the Termini station and within walking distance of key sights. The street is great with a wine bar, restaurants and delis. The rooms contain all that you need for a short stay. The beds are comfortable and the room was cleaned and restocked daily. Breakfast was served until 9.30am and was a decent spread of buffet... More

The hotel staff were friendly and were able to accommodate our requests with no problems. The hotel is close to the sightseeing bus stops with only a short stroll to Spanish Steps and other historical sites

Flavia is an okay hotel with a really good location. There are ample restaurants nearby as well as small stores to get sandwiches and fruit and pretty much anything else you want. We stayed on the second floor, in a dated room, which really needed to have some updating, fresh paint would be a really good idea. The bathroom is... More

Firstly, let me say that I am not picky when it comes to accommodation. I often stay in hostels and budget hotels and I try to be fair with my reviews. So let me start with the positives. The location is good- it's near to Termini, Barberini and Republica metro stations. You can also walk pretty easily to the Spanish... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in May. Location is perfect- walking distance to literally everything (even vatican and collosseum) but close to metro too if you don't like walking. Rooms very basic - no kettle, no balcony, hardly any light in room. We were on level 2 and had to use lift- no steps. Room was in major need of... More

My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days in May '15. The staff are very courteous, we did not need to ask them for any assistance so cannot comment how helpful they are. The room was very small and basic but had everything we needed as a base. It is in a cheaper area away from all of the... More

This hotel has an excellent location in the heart of Rome. It's basic but very clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Good value and the breakfast is excellent and only 15 mins from the centre.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
