Stayed here for 7 nights.Booked after reading good reviews.Unfortunately,we were greeted with a very sad looking room.Small expected but the deco was very poor, walls covered in marks, tiny window into no where at the back, rust in the bathroom! But suppose you get what you pay for and when in Rome its not like you will be spending much time in the... More

Clean, great location and very nice staff! good 5 days here! you can walk to pretty much every thing in the city from your hotel! Safe area! There is an Italian Market on its left that has local wine and really good lazania and on it's right there is a really cool small Fruit Shop! I would stay here again.... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week, we were 2 couples. It was squashy clean and pretty much close to the downtown and the Metro station. The receptionists were all very kind and helpful. The breakfast was okay..not impressive. The rooms we took are too small and the proofing of the walls and windows were awful, we used to... More

Despite an initial setback which was not the hotel's fault but the booking agents the room we were allocated was ideal after an intervention by Marcus who was very polite and helpful. It was very clean and more than adequate for a 3 night stay, there was air conditioning, and a lift. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice... More

I originally booked at the 'sister' Hotel Borromeo but won't explain here, that is in their review. On arrival and throughout the staff were very helpful and polite. Reception area and breakfast room / terrace were nice too, the lady who oversees breakfast will make you a real Italian coffee if you ask her. Breakfast was ok apart from the... More

Good service, clean room and bathroom, quick wifi, good breakfast. Some good restaurants right outside the hotel. 10 minutes walk to the Spanish steps. Very satisfied and would not mind staying there again.

The rooms were small -- but very well designed and well taken care of. The staff was fantastic! full of helpful, friendly advice. The neighborhood was quiet -- but there were great restaurants everywhere; as well as beautiful buildings, fountains and historic sights around every corner. We stayed a week and could have stayed much longer and not seen everything... More

My friend and I stopped at Hotel Flavia for 3 nights at the end of July and couldn't fault it! Staff were very friendly and handed us a map and explained where things were and answered any questions we had. The hotel rooms were perfect for 2 people and very clean and tidy, as were the bathrooms. Breakfast was continental... More

We were charmed on arrival by the marble foyer, then disappointed by the rather small rooms. On the plus side: free reliable wifi, ample storage space and a spacious bathroom. Also, there were lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel - some very good. On the negative: the pillows were very thin and there was noise from the surrounding... More

The Flavia hotel was further out than we originally thought from Rome's attractions. The hotel was old fashioned needed a re-vamp i.e. painting etc. The one receptionist called Alfred could not do enough for you he was very helpful and very pleasant. Vatican and coliseum was worth every penny - we highly recommend booking these trips on line before you... More
