I have a week looking around Rome in March 2015, the Hotel Flavia is a good location in the middle of a lot of the tourist sites - but my holiday was spoilt because I had my wallet stolen on the underground - fortunately I had left most of my money back in the hotel but keep an eye out,... More

This hotel is close to city center, but not very good for more than a city-break. Dusty and not very clean in my opinion. Furniture and bathroom equipment a little bit too old. Reception - service very helpful and nice. Rooms are noisy and breakfast is horrible.

Good location, clean towels and bad linen, rather good breakfasts, good service at the reception. Igor is excellent manager, thanks him a lot for his help. But rooms and showers need to be repair. Thanks!

We have stayed in the hotel "Flavia" in Rome. Our holidays were great. The hotels location is great. 7-10 minutes by foot from the metro (Plaza de Republica), 30 minutes walking from the city centre. Breakfast were good. And though the rooms need a bit repairment, it did not spoil the impression, because we did not spend much time in... More

Good hotel for short-term trip, breakfast is not really varied, but okay. Bathroom was exetremely small. Reception was helpful. The hotel is located really close to the city center and main shop-streets.

Stayed here for the 6 nations rugby. The hotel itself I can only describe as mediocre. The room was basic, functional but grubby: Double bed & ensuite. Wasn't impressed with view - the room windows opened out into an internal courtyard overlooking residential apartments which were approximately 30 feet away (Being generous here!) & kitchen area of hotel. A lot... More

The hotel was as expected quite rundown in areas like the corridor and hallways, with patches of damp etc. Our room was surprisingly spacious with a modern bathroom (shower was in need of care but for the price I didn’t expect perfection nor luxury, I did however expect a flushing toilet which took 3 times reporting to reception to get... I usually try to see the positive in any place that I stay but with confidence I can tell that this was the worst place that I've stayed so far. The room was absolutely outdated. The plugs and faucets were broken. Even by looking at the pictures you can tell that for the price it's the worst place to stay in... More

I've been in this hotel with my mum two weeks ago. We stayed three nights. Well, the situation is good because in 7 or 10 minutes by walk you are in Termini. The street is not very busy and there are two restaurants. We liked the hotel, the only point that they should try to change is about the tables... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
