I've been in this hotel with my mum two weeks ago. We stayed three nights. Well, the situation is good because in 7 or 10 minutes by walk you are in Termini. The street is not very busy and there are two restaurants. We liked the hotel, the only point that they should try to change is about the tables... More

We were 16 students travelling from Greece. We spent 4 nights there. The hotel gave us all the rooms of the first floor which were fully renovated. The rooms were very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich with many things different kinds of sweets. There was also italian esspresso and cappuchino coffee. I would... More

Overall I was very impressed with the hotel. We managed to get a room here last minute at less than half the price of the standard cost. The room was pleasant, functional, clean and had air con which is always a bonus! Not much of a view from the room but wouldn't say this was an issue. Lovely breakfast. All... More

If you can avoid staying here then do at all costs, there are lovely hotels for the same price just two metro stops up from here! Rooms were dirty, walls dirty, mirrors cracked, rusty shower, things hanging off, view of a rubbish dump out of a dirty window, corners of cupboards falling off and fake wood peeling up and, in... Awful awful experience here! Checked in to be given a very poor room, smelt, dirty walls, floors and windows! Lamps not working cracks in mirrors rusty towel rails, filthy dirty grubby shower sink and general bathroom went to ask to be moved and greeted by a pleasant man who apologised and said he could not do anything untill the morning!... Flavia is close to the Termini station and within walking distance of key sights. The street is great with a wine bar, restaurants and delis. The rooms contain all that you need for a short stay. The beds are comfortable and the room was cleaned and restocked daily. Breakfast was served until 9.30am and was a decent spread of buffet... More

The hotel staff were friendly and were able to accommodate our requests with no problems. The hotel is close to the sightseeing bus stops with only a short stroll to Spanish Steps and other historical sites

Flavia is an okay hotel with a really good location. There are ample restaurants nearby as well as small stores to get sandwiches and fruit and pretty much anything else you want. We stayed on the second floor, in a dated room, which really needed to have some updating, fresh paint would be a really good idea. The bathroom is... More

Firstly, let me say that I am not picky when it comes to accommodation. I often stay in hostels and budget hotels and I try to be fair with my reviews. So let me start with the positives. The location is good- it's near to Termini, Barberini and Republica metro stations. You can also walk pretty easily to the Spanish... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
