First off, the only positive about this hotel is the location, however, during our stay we saw several other hotels in the same area so, please, do not count so much on the location. I don't even know where to begin listing the things wrong with this hotel. I guess I'll start by saying that I'm not sure it's even... More

We knew not to expect much for our money in Rome, so we didn't bother checking the ratings of Domus Mea too much before booking as it was in our price range. What a terrible mistake... Better start off with the positives - the location is really good. 5 min walk to the train station (to catch tourist buses, airport... More

We stayed there for a week and on arrival we were asked to pay up front for the entire week before we had even sen the room. Most staff we encountered, except one, spoke very little english. This was a problem when trying to explain that we would like to see the room first, etc and also when asking for... More

we arrived late at night and the night worker seemed to be in a bad mood and did not greet us at all.. i immediately felt like we entered into a truck stop and could tell the hotel was going to disappoint. it smelled moldy. we were told we had to pay up front for the entire stay and when... More

this hotel is total crap and the staff even worse. it is advertised as(and you pay for) a room with barthroom, air-conditioning, satelite tv, and breakfast. The barthroom is located across the hallway and outside of your room, the air-con can only be used after paying an additional 8 euro a day, the tv is tiny and doesnt work, and... More

I only stayed here one night in order to catch an early train to the airport. The hotel/room was clean, simple, cheap and conveniently located and I was quite satisfied when leaving yesterday. At this moment, when writing this text I am suffering from large red spots on different parts of my body and I have had a long and... More

as others have said, this place is very basic. i stayed here only for 2 nights in order to be near termini train staion- i would not stay there any longer. the rooms are uncomfortable- tiny twin bed, no space to put your luggage other than a wardrobe cabinet, an uncomfortable cane chair, tv was high on a cabinet and... The least friendly staff I have ever encountered.Room size not for the claustrophobic.Situated not in the greatest area of Roma even if the location is central-I felt uncomfortable walking back to the hotel at night.Didnt think the rooms were cleaned every day like Im used to at other hotels in Rome. Fortunately there are much better hotels in Rome.

I can only confirm what everyone else is saying. This is no frills, basic and spotlessly clean place. The bathroom was immaculate and modern, heating working and the desk people very very friendly. We loved the coffee in the morning and enjoyed the crusty rolls and croissants for breakfast. Surprisingly the area being this close to Termini was actually nice... More

The hotel is very well-located , less than 5 minutes to Termini. Once inside the building guests need to be aware that the hotel is on the 5th floor and the lift is a typical old-fashioned type you find in European apartment buildings and very small. At a squeeze you can get two plus luggage. Occasionally the lift is out... More
