The Paba is a good hotel, the owner is a very nice lady and an excellent hostess. She makes you feel at home. The location is great, it is very close to the Roman Forum and the Coliseum. Definitely would go back.

Alberta, the hostess with the mostest, made my 3 night + 1 night stay happy and memorable. I chose this Hotel based on Rick Steves' Italy recommendation and it did not fail me. The rooms and amenities were wonderful, the proximity to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum plus being in an area of great restaurants added to the Roman... More

Our family (three college age daughters, my husband and myself) recently stayed at this lovely, and well maintained little hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance from the Termini, and a few blocks from the Forum and Colosseum, affording my desired multiple viewings (including lit at night). We had the two rooms in one "wing" of the hotel, a triple... More

My mother and I went to Rome for six nights. I chose this hotel because of its amazing location and good reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. An easy walk from the coliseum, forum, termini (main transportation hub), pantheon, and more! The elevator is so old-fashioned, it's awesome. And don't worry if you don't trust it, since the hotel is on... More

*Please read the special note at the end of the review. Pros: - The room is large, clean, practically and attractively furnished. There is a large classical window with shutters. - The bedding is firm, but very comfortable. - There is plenty of closet space. - The small public area of the hotel is warm and welcoming. - Hotel Paba... We stayed here for our anniversary in February, i requested a room with a view and we were given the imperial suite! The bed was the size of two double beds, there was a big balcony that faced the street, we enjoyed some wine from the mini bar out there during the night just watching the world go by :)... More

I traveled to this hotel with my boyfriend in January 2014. We were only in Rome for 1 weekend, and this hotel was really fantastic. The owner was extremely sweet and helpful - she even brought us breakfast to our room in the morning! The location was perfect - we could walk to all the major sites. It was even... More

A nice little hotel in a great location close to the Roman Forum and Colosseum. There are two metro stations within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are clean, and the bed was huge. The lady who runs the hotel is really nice and very helpful. We had a late flight in to Rome and she stayed back late... More

A quaint and cozy hotel located conveniently just around the corner from the Colosseo and Forum. The proprietor, Alberta is a sage but quite friendly elderly woman who will provide guidance on the sights and how best to get around the city. She even secured a very reasonably priced airport shuttle for our departure (at 3 am). Breakfast (fresh large... More

My husband and I stayed here in December 2011, and we had an incredible time in Rome & this hotel was certainly one of them. The place is run by a little elderly lady who checked us in & made our breakfast daily. The croissant was the most delicious breakfast pastry - I still dream about it. I Fresh juice... More
