Alberta is a gem, she makes you feel like you are in your home. The setting, while not luxurious, is pleasant and the location could not be better. Let me just add a couple of things that others haven't mentioned: 1) I was a little nervous going as a gay couple to a 7-room bed and breakfast in Rome operated... More

(our beds had hard mattresses,- we did not mind, maybe other rooms have softer ones -if you mind you should ask) walking distance from Rome's main train station (15 min) and close to metro station(5 min) Lady who runs it is very nice. you get continental breakfast to the room every morning. very close to coliseum... We loved Hotel PABA. Alberta was very helpful. The location is perfect near Colosseum and right on the Metro. We had nice towels, good water pressure and a big bed. The breakfast croissant and cappuccino were just right and brought to our room. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

The ladies working here were extremely nice and helpful. The location was great. Very close to good restaurants and the colliseum. The room was very clean and nice and had a nice balcony overlooking the roman forum. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed a week at the hotel, and had booked it based on both the location and the recommendations here. We have nothing to add to all the good things already said. This is a very small hotel located on the 2nd floor of a building and has no dining room but has the breakfast served in your room. The... More

This is our second stay at Hotel PABA. We were here in 2010 for 6 night and have now been here for 13 nights, leaving tomorrow. The location is perfect. You are only minutes to 2 metro stations, The Coloseum and The Forum are literally at the end of the street and the owner is DARLING! Mrs. Castelli (Alberta) takes... More

This hotel was easy to find, and we walked to almost all the sites from it. The lady running the place was really kind and helpful, and gave us a charming simple breakfast every morning. The rooms are certainly old fashioned, but we didn't find that they were lacking anything. We really liked our stay there.

This B&B offers a lot for the money. It has a great location very close to the Colleseum and Roman Forum and walkable to many of the local attractions . It is also conveniently located to the Metro foir more distant places like the Vatican. Owner Alberta is very helpful , particularly in making sure we had a reliable and... More

I was there from 18-20 March and enjoyed my stay. Alberta, the owner, and also the lady who personally sees to her guests, gives you that personal motherly touch. She comes by to serve breakfast, which although is simple, it's done from the heart. The only thing is that the room may need at least a spoon or stirrer for... More

The pros for this hotel: * The location could not be better, that's for sure. It’s just a few steps away from Forum Romanum and a few more steps away from the Colosseum and the Capitol Hill. And it is close to the subway if you want to go to the Vatican for example. Walking from Station Termini takes 20... More
