If considering visiting Rome (especially in the summer) don't stay here. Unless you like using public transport it's not in a good location for Rome sight seeing. Rooms were passable, but the AC wasn't good enough for the high temps and the power went off 3 or 4 times during our 6 night stay. Then, on check-out the kicker -... More

Thank you for your review. Getting to Colosseum by public transport in 20 minutes is quite good in such a big city!! As for the power, just in those days half town had problems because of the extraordinarily high temperature. The city tax is due in any hotel, not only at the BW BLU Hotel Roma ( it is clearly... If you are looking for a lavish accomodation in Rome, this is not the place for you. If you are a vivid traveller who prefers travelling like a local in trains and bus, bingo, you won a jackpot. Value for money accomodation within a walkable distance from Tiburtina station with bus stop just adjacent to hotel, we never had to... More

the beds were twin beds , the blanket was a wool military blanket, you have to ask for ice at the bar, the vending machine sodas are 3 euros... Thank you for your review. Please note that your reservation was for TWIN BEDS !! The area is inhabited by families and students and it is absolutely safe and very well connected to the center. As for the breakfast, in addition to what you listed, we offer Italian cuts, salami and ham, cheese, fresh ricotta, typical Italian bread, jam of different... More

Went for 3 nights . Rooms are spacious and fully airconditioned even hade a balcony to relax on (better than any hotel inside Rome) Once you get the positioning of the hotel acourding to the main attractions in Rome you find that you save a lot of money if you use the public transportation. It's easy the only down that... More

The room was small with two twin beds very close together. However, the room and bathroom were very clean. There is also a refrigerator in the room. We had a problem with the electricity in our room going out but it was resolved by the staff. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast had a... More

This hotel was booked by our agent. This hotel is neither in city centre nor near airport. I still do not understand why we were booked here. On first impression we liked it. We found comfortable. As we entered the room, air-conditioned was on. Bed is a bit low but very comfortable. As a disabled person, I always struggled to... More

The staff here are truly amazing, so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is modern and clean, but basic. The reason I didn't give it a better review is the location. The hotel is a bit outside of Rome, and is even a 20 minute walk to the nearest metro station. There is not much around the hotel besides a... More

Wonderful service! It's not in the center of Rome, this is true. The amenities are basic, and the rooms are small, yes. However, the rooms are clean and the service is wonderful! I have to say that the desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly to tourists, really going the extra mile to ensure their stay is pleasant. GianLucca and... More

There is graffiti in the entire neighborhood. The location of the hotel was not desirable. It was far from the major attractions. A cab ride to downtown Rome was about $15-$20 euros. A daily train/bus pass is about $7 euros. The front desk staff was nice. The housekeeper did a great job cleaning the room daily. The room is small... More

Thank you for your review. Thanks for appreciating the desk staff and the housekeeper. The location is clearly written on all our official sites. It's a quiet area inhabited by families and students, with a square, a church and a tipically Italian fruit&vegetable market. As for the rest, it is rather difficult to take a position without knowing exactly what... More

Staff was very nice however the owner of the hotel and on-site restaurant was truly racist. The minute we sat down to have dinner (4 women and 1 teenager) we were a target. Him and his wife sat across from us, stared at us the entire time and was ease dropping on our entire conversation. His wife had her back... More

Dear guest, the headline of your review is an abusive attack to the owner's reputation by a false slanderous communication. Members of our management are black. Our staff is international. Over 50% of our 50,000 yearly guests are from different ethnic groups and they are obviously all welcome. Has racism anything to do with a plate of sausages? The owners... More
