We, a family of four, stayed with Gabreila's... "Annette B&B" for four nights in December 2014. We found the beds to be comfortable for two adults and two children ages 10 & 12. Our spacious restroom, for europe, was located just outside the room and a hot breakfast was served every morning. The kids loved the eggs, toast, milk and... More

We stayed in the Annette B&B during a week-long visit to Rome. We found the inn to be very comfortable and quiet. We loved the location in an authentic Roman apartment building. The neighborhood is great... quiet and mainly consisting of local residents. It is a short walk west to the Vatican or south across the river to the more... More

After an unhappy stay in the Hotel Emma in Florence we caught the train to Rome and made our way to the Annette B & B in some trepidation. We need not have worried, all the reviews about the lovely Gabriella were true. We were welcomed to a lovely room, given lots of helpful advice, and advised that on our... More

I enjoyed my one night stay at Annette B&B. My room( Fortuna) was spacious, comfy and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. The owner was open and honest. Again, my experience was great, and anyone looking for a good accomodation should make sure to give Gabriela a call!

Very convenient location to go to Vatican, shopping area, food choices. The manager was also very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is included though do not expect big served breakfast but more of do-your-own breakfast with available supplies. I must say one of the best coffees I've had actually. Caution though on the bread and mind their expiration dates before taking... More

Admittedly, it doesn't take too much to please me. If I receive reasonably good, friendly service, I'll be happy. We tend to use our accommodation abroad as a base, normally leaving at 08 and arriving to sleep at 23ish. In Rome this is especially important as we had just 4 days and nights to see this majestic city. This B&B,... More

Annette's B and B was a great find! Located a quick 15 minute walk to the Vatican in a lovely residential area it is near many small restaurants, gelato shops, and design stores. Gabriella, the manager, is very helpful and provides a side variety of breakfast items in her cozy kitchen. The three rooms available are all large and clean.... More

With all the hustle that can be Rome, this is a jewel of a find. A small, optimally located home-like place where the proprietor, Annette, will warmly and graciously make you feel like family. She even cooks Americans scrambled eggs in the included breakfast! It is located inside a sumptuous palazzo on a shady, tree-lined street. St. Peter's, the Vatican... More

Annette B&B is located just around the corner from the Vatican though the small apartment complex it is located in is quiet and just off of the main street. For someone wanting to see Rome’s major attractions this is a great location. The apartment itself feels like home as soon as you step in - well decorated, clean and inviting.... More

My husband and I stayed at Annette B&B for four nights in May and we truly enjoyed our stay there! Gabriela was absolutely wonderful and waited up for us to arrive at 10 pm. My husband did a lot of research beforehand, so we knew it was a normal apartment building and we had to ring the bell to get... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
