We specifically booked this hotel for the rooftop pool, knowing that we were going to be visiting in 40 degree weather (too hot for anything other than swimming!). The location isn't ideal for walking around the city, it's next to Termini but still about 10-15min just to walk back to the front of Termini (and then another 35min to Trevi... More

Booked the junior suite for 3 nights, stayed for 1 night and couldn't get out of the hotel fast enough. The design of the shower and tub together is so bad that the water does not drained at all and overflows to the side of the tub and flooded the floor. Complained to the staff, not much help. Was charged... More

The minimum you expect when getting into any hotel is to have a place to sleep quietly and a shower. Well it appears we had half of the deal given the lack of maintenance on the shower we got (see pictures with only few very thin water drops coming out...). Very disappointed by this. The swimming pool area is nice... More

Great hotel and really modern, the taxi service within the hotel is great, rooftop pool and restaurant a of high quality. A hotel very well placed for people who are confident around a new city etc, close to the train station, be confident and enjoy Rome

Great location (I think is Chinatown area too considering all the shops are Chinese ) just by the Roma Termini main station and where to get the bus to Fiumicino Airport , nice funny room layout. Lovely swimming pool and bar and there is also a jacuzzi. Overpriced continental breakfast. Drink by the pool in the evening is a must.... More

Loud noises 2.30am - music -screaming - hotel staff did nothing Save yourself and stay somewhere nice Hotel is in a average area. More convenient hotels for the money available Rooms are basic - you would expect much more from a radisson. The sound of trains screeching on the lines is not good either

We stayed here for 3 nights on a sight seeing trip to Rome. The property was located close to Termini and was walk able, albeit through a fairly shady neighborhood. We didn't have any problems, but the area sure kept us on our toes. We stayed in a courtyard room on the 6th floor, and found the room to be... More

I stayed at the Radisson Blu es. Hotel, Roma for 11 nights in May 2015 for a company conference and was very distressed when my diamond earstud fell into a hole in the wooden floor in the room. The hotel night staff and front duty manager, Cristina Peretto tried in vain to help me retrieve the item. After my departure,... More

Stayed with my wife and two children - we really enjoyed our stay, great rooms, great pool on the roof and really friendly staff always met with a smile:-) Great location very close to Termini station and a easy walk down to Colosseum and the rest of the sights.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
