Bellesuite Hotel's staff was both welcoming and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing in Rome. The room was small, quiet, and clean. During the time I stayed there, Bellesuite's ownership changed, which didn't seem to be a problem.

Very comfortable hotel in the center of Rome. 5 minutes walk from Termini station for the airport transfers coaches and rail link. Bellesuite rooms are on third floor. An old fashioned lift with manual door will take you up. It can be a little tricky to find in the dark the first time. A city map including Via Modena will... More

Hotel is well located - good bus, metro connections. Owner and staff are very nice. Helpful especially in showing the must-see sights in Rome and the best possible way(s) to get to these places. Rooms are very clean, take note the bathrooms too. Very good breakfast and I had the best cappuccino! I can highly recommend Bellesuite.

This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from termini station - ideal when we were carrying our heavy suitcases in the heat! It's also only a 15/20 minute walk from the colosseum and not too far from all the touristy parts of Rome. There is a metro stop just around the corner which we used to visit the Vatican... More

I am posting this review using the Bellesuite wireless internet connection from Rome. It's been hot and humid with occasional thunder showers. It's a life saver to come back to the room and turn the A/C on, especially during the traditional Roman afternoon siesta. The room itself is comfortable for the four of us. We got a really large king... More

We actually stayed here at the end of July 2013 but I'm just now getting around to reviewing. It's located in a building with a few different boutique "hotels" on different floors. Our room was fairly large and very clean. The shower was a little odd and it tended to spray water out onto the floor if you weren't careful,... More

After a week in an apt in Trastevere and then two weeks around Italy, we came back to Rome for our final night. We chose Bellesuite because it is centrally located to Termini and some interesting sights (Colloseum). It was an east walk to the train station and the hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building with other... More

The rooms were average but very clean. The hotel is located in a building with 5 other small hotels so it is difficult to locate. However, it is worth the search. Our room was quiet, but the bathroom was very small. My main praise goes to the staff which was wonderful. Our suitcase did not show up for 2 days... More

The hotel is a five minute walk from the central railway (and subway) station and about a 20 minute walk from the Forum. It is quiet, clean and serves a great breakfast. Staff were helpful and polite. I would stay there again. The hotel can be difficult to find if you look at the address numbers on both sides of... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
