The hotel front desk definitely lacking hospitality and personality! I had to ask all the questions regarding breakfast the restaurant and so on and I just found that annoying! I did not feel that they were available to me instead I could have been a bit of a bother. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The beds were... More

Very nice hotel and very clean. They cleaned twice a day. Piano bar in the lobby which we had a great time. Staff was very friendly . Even though the breakfast was good the could have a bigger variety. There were many restaurants around to eat.The location was very good also. Quite, but with very good transportation on the main road... More

Good hotel not far from Barberini, I come here often for business. Clean, friendly staff, nice area. It has also a restaurant that is not bad. Would love to have high speed wifi for free though. Good breakfast.

The receptionists were nice. They helped us in finding tours. The hotel was very good: First it is located near the piazza della repubblica, close to the metro station. The room was good and clean, towels were replaced every day. The breakfast was very good. There is a bar in the ground floor where live piano music was played.

A decent room in a well kept hotel with breakfast included. That's good enough for us. Every person on the staff was also very welcoming and pleasant. There are very good restaurants nearby.... across the street or right on the corner.

The hotel is located in a little street. Away from all the traffic noise. It is close to the city centre, the Piazza di Spagna, the Trevy fountain etc. The walk into the centre takes around 15 minutes. Rome's major train station is also around 15 minutes away. The service is very friendly. My room was rather small but big... More

My husband, our 2 young adult children and myself stayed at the Empire Palace between the Christmas and New Year holiday. The hotel was comfortable enough. Our rooms had comfortable beds and pretty antique furniture. The rooms were rather small, but the lobby area was large enough for us to gather with our children for family time. The breakfast had... Love the hotel, great staff and location. It has breakfast included and is close to all the main attractions without being in a noisy area. The staff were very helpful upon arrival. We will definitely come back again.

Beautifully decorated room and public areas. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent personal attention. Within easy walking distance of the main train station, 3 Metro stops, and Via Veneto. Wonderful beeakfast. We would quickly stay here on another trup.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and found staying here very enjoyable. When we first arrived we were greeted by Roberto who welcomed us warmly and helped us with our luggage. Christiano who checked us in was completely charming and welcomed us warmly also. The staff at reception were always very friendly and helpful especially Sylvano and Flavia... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
