Small room, single bed, hard pillows, Front desk clerks a bunch of snobs, maids, very nice. Great breakfast .
Within reasonable walking distance of many sites but very little in the way of directions.
Not a 4 star facility despite all their self promotion.

The Empire Palace has, in my mind, an ideal location in central Rome. Add to that comfortable rooms, a full suite of services this property offers a tremendous value.
