The hotel is the perfect stay when in Rome. It's rea value for money. The host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in your own room is sufficient to keep you on your feet with coffee, juice, croissant, yoghurt, boiled egg. No street noises but an absolute fabulous location near Colosseum. Highy recommended!

We stayed here for Easter weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! The owner and his son are so welcoming, on arrival we were given a map and shown how to get to all the sights. The hotel is located so close to the colosseum and loads of other sights, we didn't use the metro much at... More

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a very good location for visiting historical Rome. The room and bathroom are rather small. The breakfast is ok, but nothing special. But based on what you pay, it is a very good value.

My mother and I stayed at Lorenzo's hotel and had such a fabulous time! Very central location, right near the Colosseum. Extremely reasonable rates and wonderful service. Lorenzo brings a great meal every morning with juice, coffee, eggs, pastries, toast, etc. The room is cute and has wifi, a fridge, and a tv. Perfect for what we needed :)

My wife and stayed here for 3 days during our honeymoon in Italy. The manager/owner was incredibly helpful and provided information regarding any service needed from best local food, best sites to see, and even where to go if one needs to do laundry. Maps, bus schedules, metro stops were all provided upon check in. Downtown Accommodation provided breakfast room... More

I would highly recommend this Guesthouse! It was a perfect location, the owner was more than happy to help and answer any questions and recommend places to go himself - which we did! The rooms are clean and spacious, it was perfect for what we needed! Had a lovely stay, and even get a breakfast in the morning!

Upon arriving we were welcomed by Lorenzo with a glass of fresh orange and pastries and a bottle of water. His hosting was second to none - he was very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was served in your room at your selected time, there was no tea but he was very quick to provide us with some. The breakfast was okay... More

Stayed 6 nights, 7 days. Lorenzo was super helpful and very friendly, amazing service. We booked our taxi with him, to and from the airport. Great Service again, able to arrange our taxi even at 4 am ! Waiting with our name card at the airport when we arrived. There were all the amenities you could ask for, including a... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
