We were originally staying in a different hotel in the same area which was terrible so we made a last minute booking for down town. It is in an excellent location- a 5 minute walk from the colosseum and affordable bars and restaurants nearby. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail in the hotel, it's cleanliness and the... More

Downtown Accommodation is in great location for all of the sights and easy to access public transportation. The room has air condition, a mini fridge, comfortable beds and even though it was right in the street you could not hear anything from outside. My 8 year old daughter and I stayed here and felt very safe. THe whole place was... More

I have visited Rome many times and Via Frattina is just the most convenient location I have ever found. Mid way between the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona it's perfect for the best shops and restaurants and so much more sophisticated than the fun but rather trashy touristy Navona side. Sandro is very helpful and discreet, loved the beautiful fresh... More

For where it's located (central to Colosseum, Roman Form, Palatine Hill etc) Downtown Accommodation is exceptionally priced. Lorenzo and Roberto (Father/Son) run the business and as a result take great care of their guests. Be sure to pick their brain on places to eat, many local restaurants that are easy to miss.

The staff, Lorrenzo and Roberto, were very accommodating. Breakfast was served to our room every morning and the hotel was close to many areas such as the Colosseum and Pantheon. If we ever need supplies such as water bottles, Lorrenzo would provide us some. Overall, my sister and I had a great time in Rome and my time at Downtown... More

Stayed 6 nights here, very close 3 mins walk to roman forum.colosseum. Close to restaurants and shopping areas. Same breakfast for 6 days - not for us, only hot on this breakfast is the boiled eggs. And will deliver at your room, not good for us, as we had the small room full of clutter, as usual, so making room... More

Me & my wife spent 7 nights in this hotel, and I recommend everyone to stay in while in Roma :) Clean (towels and sheets changed everyday), good location (over 500 meters to colosseo), good service ... Special thanks to Lorenzo for his hospitality and kindness

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. Lorrenzo was extremely nice and helpful for giving us tips and information to get around the city. He brought a decent breakfast to our room at the time of our choosing. I wasn't crazy about the coffee, but everything else was good for an Italian breakfast. My only con... More

We stayed in Soggiorno Downtown for 3 nights. Everything was very clean everyday, the room was very comfortable, quiet and cosy. There wasn't a view but this B&B is near every destination in Rome (Colosseum is 2 minutes at the same street)! We went everywhere on foot. All the central places are in close distance. The host was very kind... More

The hotel is the perfect stay when in Rome. It's rea value for money. The host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in your own room is sufficient to keep you on your feet with coffee, juice, croissant, yoghurt, boiled egg. No street noises but an absolute fabulous location near Colosseum. Highy recommended!

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
