I travelled to Rome to get married in March 2008. On the recommendation of the priest at St. Patrick's Augustinian Church many of the wedding party stayed at the Boncompagni Suite. Our experience of it was very, very positive. The rooms are a good size, well fitted out, very clean and the staff are very courteous and obliging.
One or two reviews mentioned that the location is not ideal for tourists as it is 10 to 15 walk from the start of the sightseeing areas. I think that for the money and the location (very safe, well kept area) this is a great location. The experience of some of our group was that you can pay hundreds of Euros per night for accommodation in Rome and not get anything like the value offered by Boncompagni Suites in return.
The breakfasts are delivered to your room and are good. The bathroom is a pretty good size and features a good shower. The only slight drawback of the property is that it is on the first floor and while there is a lift I don't...
