After reading positive reviews, and needing a hotel in this neighborhood of Rome, we decided to book a quad room at this hotel. First, its not even a hotel. We arrived tired after driving for six hours, and rang the doorbell downstairs for ten minutes and nothing...I had been asked via email what time I would arrive, and had said... More

This place was an excellent escape from the hot and crowded streets of Rome in July. Good location - walkable to many sights. I looked forward to returning every evening. Staff was so sweet and helpful.

We booked triple room for my sisters wedding in church up the road. We had a lovely stay. It is quite basic but there is aircon, powerful hot shower and lovely staff. We got breakfast in our room each morning. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definately recommend.

I do not know how this hotel got 5 stars from Trip Advisor! It is out of the way, a long walk to Metro and main attractions, and the downstairs lobby is incredibly shabby with patchy floor and crumbling walls and dirty. the elevator does not have room for 2 people and their luggage and is very old. The upstairs... More

We've just returned from a 4 night stay in Boncompagni Suite. Katerina & Fernando were very friendly and went out their way to help. Location was perfect for us, max 20 minute walk to all major sites. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Its a little far from the locations, but transport is easy and we got a great room and breakfast. Its the second story in a building which can be misleading, but the room was large and comfortable, the staff was extra friendly and they helped us booking attraction entrances. We got served great little breakfast with a variety of cheeses... More

The hotel is well located and comfortable. Breakfast is served to your room by order. The entrance is undergoing some work at the time and we could not find a front office clerk most of the time. When they were there they were friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

We stayed here 4 nights on the recommendation of friends and were very pleased. Although the mainfloor entry could be improved, our 1st floor (2nd storey) room was clean and comfortable and the daily breakfast selection ideal for an early start on our Rome adventures. This property is well-situated just south of Villa Borghese and in the area of many... More

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary by staying at Boncompagni Suites for four nights and then took a train to Civitavecchia where we embarked upon a wonderful12 night Mediterranean cruise. Our stay at Boncompagni Suite was wonderful and quite enjoyable with much to be said for the impeccable hospitality of their staff. Luca along with the owners and staff were very... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
