An oasis from the hub-ub of Rome, but in the center of the ancient part of the city, Nicholas Inn was a perfect spot for our stay. Melissa and Francois are friendly, but not intrusive, giving us advice on restaurants to try, banks in the area, and they even have a ready supply of guide books on Rome that we... More

I cannot understand why this b&b has been rated so highly by so many. It is well located and the rooms are quite large but it is very basic accommodation for 144 Euros per night. Our room was very noisy on a busy street. We asked to move but were politely told no. I found the bed uncomfortable and the... More

We are sorry you were unhappy with your stay at Nicolas Inn. You did alert us to not being able to sleep well and asked to change rooms. We explained that we could not do that because it would force the next guests to have to change rooms during their stay, something that we would never do unless the guests... More

Just finished up a stay at the Nicolas Inn. Great location, central to many sites within walking distance. Metro stop nearby for exploring sites further away. Took the Metro from our hotel near the Vatican to a stop very near the Inn, 8 minute walk to the front door. Greeted warmly by Francois and were recommended restaurants in the neighborhood.... More

Our first trip to Europe, and this was our first stop. Melissa arranged a car for us at the airport, making arrival very stress free. Francois met us on the street, took our bags, and led us up to the apartment. After showing us our room, which was made ready very early, he waited while we freshened up, then took... More

A great location within walking distance to Ancient Rome and the train station. A metro stop is close as well. Breakfast was provided every morning at a nearby cafe (delicious pastries and wonderful service). The rooms were clean and comfy with a fridge, wifi, in room safe, and hair dryer. Francois & Melissa were so kind and helpful. They pointed... More

You will not regret staying at Nicolas Inn. The small and perfectly located B&B feels more like home than a hotel. It is very clean and the innkeepers , Francois and Melissa are kind and attentive to every need. Very nice people and a very nice place!!!

This is a small, family-run inn / B&B. Hosts Francois and Melissa are very accommodating and helpful - they will give you as much or as little help / advice as you like. Our room was great - large and comfortable - and the hosts cleaned our room very quickly everyday, almost as if by magic (we never noticed them... More

I booked the Nicholas Inn based on a friend's recommendation. My fiance and I were blown away with the location to all the major sites! You could almost see the Colosseum from the front door. Melissa was SO incredibly helpful prior to the trip, answering emails promptly and helping plan our trip. Once we were there she directed us to... More
