Small room but very clean with clean towels every day. The television should be changed for a flat screen and have a lot more channels. The reception desk was very pleasant. The downside was the breakfast. Very little choice and not enough tables for the amount of guests.

My sister and I traveled from USA and stayed here for our first two nights of our trip and we loved our room, breakfast, and Marco at the front desk! All the staff was very attentive! Both the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Hotel Serena for three nights. This is an affordable hotel, a few minutes walk from the Roma Termini station. I guess for the price we weren't quite expecting luxury, however a few things to note... (1) The area is not very nice but you can stroll into the city centre in 20-30 minutes (2) The room is... This hotel is very close to the Termini Station. We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and its not a bad place but wasn't pleased. The room is super small; the shower isn't even big but have to say the bathroom was pretty clean. They had a super old TV which only had 4 channel that were all in... More

Just about to check out and felt compelled to leave a review for this hotel. We visited for 4 nights to allow us to see the fabulous sights Rome has to offer. The Serena is a great hotel located close to the Termini station which offers easy access to everything although we chose to walk everywhere so we could stumble... More

I stayed at the Hotel Serena for 4 nights with my granddaughter. The price was right. (on a budget) Very close to the Roma Termini.(We arrived by train) Our room and bathroom were always clean and the one bed room was perfect for us. Breakfast was OK. The best was Marco at the front desk, always a big smile and... More

Location was perfect! Very close to Roma Termini. Staff was nice. Stayed there for 3 nights, room was always kept clean. We had the room on the 5th floor at the back side of the hotel so it was quiet. Breakfast was decent (cold buffet) but i loved the coffee! :) Internet is a little unreliable. And thats the only... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
