The hotel staff and Owners are like family, excellent place to stay and the location, is great. We have been staying there for 6 yrs now. Excellent location to many attractions, bus and train are a few short steps away.

Stayed at the Hotel Serena for a night. Things that l liked about the hotel. Pros: 1. Location: Very close to Roma termini. About 5-6 mins walk from Roma Termini. 2. Room: We booked a double room, room size was decent. 3. Cleanliness: The rooms, bathrooms and the hotel were neat and clean. 4. The staff was friendly. 5. Breakfast... More

The hotel was exactly what I expected given the other reviews on this site. The location was very handy for transportation and the area also feels very safe. There is a lot of good food options close to the hotel, which was very handy. It was a little hard to find the hotel because they do not have a big... More

I stay here at the Serena Hotel each time I visit Rome. The staff are great and remember me each time I visit even if I don't visit Rome for a year or two. Just a block or two from subways, busses, trains and a short walk to any site in Rome. Room rates are very good, rooms very clean... More

It was not really a breeze finding the hotel even though it is really really near, reason being the not very obvious signage outside. We entirely missed the sign outside, went inside the side opening and even rang the bell for some other smaller B&B on other levels. Turned out it was a much better hotel that I thought. Reception... Great location - we walked to all of the major tourist sites pretty comfortably. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Buffet breakfast was very good - wide selection and plenty of it. Dining room was a bit small but we found a table every day and the breakfast was available up to about 10am. Room was a bit small (we... More

Nice small hotel close to Stazione Termini. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk.We stayed 3 nights then went on a week tour of Sicily and were offered storage for extra luggage until back in Rome for 2 days. Complained about a small room and immediately got a larger room. Wifi doubtful but internet cafe across the street. We... More

I found the hotel to be clean and the employees to be very friendly and helpful. There breakfast was the best breakfast offered to us from all the hotels we stayed at. It was located very close to the train station, which was very handy. They had a cute elevator. Free wifi, but it was a pain. You had to... More
