The hotel is location just around the corner from the Termini Train station which worked out perfectly for us seeing as we arrived and left from Termini. Even though we were warned that it is not a safe area at night, I have to say that we did not have any problems when we came back to our hotel late... more

The hotel was very close to Termini where you could get connections to trains, metro, buses, trams etc. The room was cleaned everyday although there was a small problem as there was a smell of the sewage which seemed to go away when having a bath and water was running through the pipes. Our room faced the back yard which... more

Stayed here in late September 09, Didnt really know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised!! It's a small hotel with a very old fashioned lift which I think made it! We were on the 4th floor in a twin room which was quite small, bed were right beside each other! But we were only there to sleep so it... more

We would, by and large, agree with most other reviewers. Perhaps those with negative opinions may be a wee bit finicky ... ! The staff is most friendly and helpful; there are several nice and (for Rome) not too expensive restaurants within one minutes walking distance. Considering the location it was surprisingly quiet in the night and we saw almost... more

Located not even a five minute walk from Termini station Hotel Serena proved to be a Little Gem. The place is super clean and the staff go out of their way to help you. Called for tickets to attractions and even helped us with bus numbers and routes. We are 2 senior couples who enjoy traveling and this was our... more

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Although the room was small (and typical by European standards), the room was obviously just renovated and spottless. Everything was fresh and the fixtures modern, etc. It is ideally located by the Termini station giving great access to the entire city by Metro or bus. Although the area around the station is "rougher,"... more

This hotel is perfectly situated near the Termini Station. The well air conditioned room was very clean, crisp linens, shower had good water pressure and lots of closet space. The breakfast was typical fruit, sweets, meat and cheese with good fresh cappachino. At the front desk, Marco graciously helped us locate many sites with a map provided by the hotel.... more

We stayed in hotel Serena for 3 nights but we would have been willing to stay for far longer. The hotel is well worthy of its 3 stars and provided a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay. As other reviews have said the hotel is very close to the main station and therefore at the heart of the metro as well.... more

We stayed for one night having booked on the internet from another part of Italy. This was one of the best value for money hotels we have stayed at. Its a 3 star but has the standard a 4 but with 3 star prices. Its always a worry before you get to your hotel, we need not have been. more
