I've been there with my boyfriend for one night only. The breakfast is a buffet on the top floor and it's a quite satisfying one. The room was clean and the bathroom wasn't so big actually but still ok for that room. The neighbourhood is really user-friendly. Piramide metro station and Ostiense train station are two steps away from the... More

In february I was staying at this hotel with my girlfriend. Rooms are rather small and few things were badly damaged such as shower and warderobe. Next to the hotel is railway woth 5 tracks, so it is pretty loudy. I didnt have any problems with sleeping during the night, probably because I am a heavy sleeper, but during the... More

Conveniently located short distance from train station with direct links to Fumicino airport. We arrived early for check in but they let us in anyway as they could see we were travel weary. There were a couple of different receptionists during our stay but they were very knowledgable and we're able to help us around. On day of check out... More

pros: Good service, breakfast was fine for a breakfast buffet, free wifi, rooms were acceptably clean cons: not best location. It is not located on the main tourist map. It is just a tiny bit south of it. (located right beside the metro station - Pyramide) so you can get anywhere fast, but I didn't feel very safe in that... More

Just came back from a lovely weekend in Rome. I chose this hotel because of 50% discount and paid around 12 euros per night. For that money it is very good choice. The hotel is situated veeery close to the train station and metro stations. It makes the place noisy but in acceptable way. Basic breakfast with delicious Italian coffee... More

Pro: The hotel was 2 metro stops away from the Colosseum, had clean rooms and the breakfast was very good. Friendly staff. Cons: The railway lines passed just a few meters from the hotel so the noise was terrible. Also close to a road with very intense traffic which added up to the noise from the train. Our closet smelt... More

Basic clean hotel close to the Metro, could be a little noisy, but didn't bother us too much. Great restaurants locally and within walking distance of all of the tourist attractions. Would of been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast a little disappointing. Good value for money.

The hotel is a short walking distance from the Ostiense Train station and the Piramide Metro Station. Around a 20 minute walk away from the Colosseum. There are nice restaurants in the vecinity (via Luigi Galvani). The rooms are simple and clean. The breakfast was a bit dissapointing.

Nice enough hotel for the price, clean, friendly staff. It is only 2 underground stops from the Colosseo and 4 from Termini; the metro station is less than 5 minutes away. If you are going to Ostia Antica or to the seaside, the train there is close too (Ostiense station). It can be noisy as one side is facing the... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
