Outstanding venue in Rome. Blocks from US embassy and parks. Walk off Metro to Via Veneto. Bed room is an oasis of calm after hours of gilt-full church's. Clean and quite with a wall safe and great air-conditioning. There is a new restaurant and cafe in the lobby but you can still use your breakfast tickets with a café across... More

These accommodations are well located near Barbarini Plaza, the Spanish Steps and the US Embassy. Well maintained and comfortable. On a well traveled, lively street. Great value. We would happily stay here again.

Located within walking distance of public transport and located close to many of the attractions of the city, which were easily visited daily. The hotel itself was excellent, rooms were comfortable and a lovely restaurant was provided, overall the stay was very enjoyable.

We saw this hotel on Trip Advisor but when searching the 5 nights we needed we couldn't get a booking. We emailed the hotel and they were very accommodating and were able to give us the nights we needed without having to change rooms. Our room was big and spacious with a new bathroom. Queen bed was very comfortable! The... More

We booked via an agency that handles accommodation in monasteries, although you can book this place through booking.com too. However, it isn't a standard hotel experience. There isn't a 24 hour reception (your room key also opens the front door), there is no room service, phone in the room or laundry, and wifi only in reception. Also, the conversion of... More

If you are traveling on a budget, want a clean, comfortable and well located place to stay then this is the place for you. This location is two metro stops from the train station. You are maybe fifty feet from the Barberini Metro Station on the Via Veneto. Easy walking distance to Spanish Steps, Borgese Gardens, Trevi Fountain, etc. It... More

Located tumbling off the Barberini Metro Station, the lovely hotel is new and welcoming to the weary traveller on the wonderful via veneto. Trevi Fountain was quite close, Piazza Novona & Pantheon at a walkable distance. 1 metro stop away from Termini meant getting in was relatively easy. Room was well appointed with the much needed air con, comfortable beds,... More

I stayed at the Casa I Cappuccini in May 2014. Newly open, I found the hotel quite wonderful. Located next to the Capuchin Monastery, near the Piazza Barberini, on the Via Veneto, it is very well located. The rooms are spotless, the staff was helpful and kind. The only Wi-Fi is in the neatly appointed lobby and breakfast provided in... More

We spent three nights at this lovely hotel. Convenient to metro and taxi stands. Lovely complimentary breakfast at a café just across the street (the hotel does not have its own restaurant facilities.) It is walking distance to shopping and several sites, including the Trevi Fountain.

I booked 4 rooms--1 for 2 nights and 3 for 4 night--directly with the hotel. This property was renovated in 2013 and is very nice. The rooms were large and the bathrooms larger than normal. Some of the rooms had additional beds in them. Breakfast was across the street at the Suggestum Cafe and consisted of juice, bakery item, and... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
