This was our second stay and was again perfect for our few days in Rome . Lovely staff and a great location for my places to visit while in Rome. Plenty of little bars and restaurants close by and brilliant as its so close to the train and coach station for the main airports. Breakfast was simple but very nice.

This was our first time in Italy and our first night was at Hotel Gea. It is a charming hotel, full of character and well located in Rome. A very grand building which was a haven from the bustling streets of Rome, complete with inner courtyard. The room was a good size as was the bed and we found the... More

I want to say a big thank you to all the staff and the management of this hotel for providing a fantastic stay for my parents. They loved this hotel, the room was big, clean, comfortable, the staff was helpful, courteous and very friendly. The hotel is located in a very good area, close to everything they wanted to see... The room they give me was extremely small. The bed was twin size. The pictures are from outside. Once in you realize it was an office building or doctors office. Breakfast was awful. If you don't care and want it just for the location you can stay, otherwise stay away!!!

We stayed at 5 hotels all similar rating and price . I like this the best . The young couplet running it were very helpful , the rooms were spacious , there was a KETTLE bonus ! Bed was large . Breakfast good only complaint is the they only had really sweat croissants no plain ones . Great stay !

I have stayed here over the course of 4 nights at the end of August. The hotel ( a floor in an old but well preserved building) has a great location - walking distance to most of Rome's sights and to Republica subway stations ( which is crucial on hot days in the summer). Plenty of stores around, including a... More

Dear Mr Alexandru, I must confess this is the first time I reply to a customer review. I am very upset not only that you were not pleased with your stay, which is our number one priority and reason of work, but that we had no suspicion you were unhappy until today that I am reading it on the web.... it is an old fashion building ( 1938) and the hotel lays on the first floor of the building ( hard to find it while you drive your car - it has not a big name outside) . We booked a triple room and we received an indeed triple room but probably with the original furniture ( 1938!) very dark,... More

loved the hotel. right in the historic center of rome (both subway lines and numerous buses a stone-throw away), very friendly staff, SUPER CLEAN, loved the breakfast...we could tell the products were great quality. everyone at the hotel is concerned with the guests having a pleasant time. owners alessandra and stefano are the best. surprised by how good a three... I have just come back from Rome and loved every minute of the trip. The hotel was in a fab location. Not too far from Termini Station and the metro, even though we only used the metro to get to the Vatican City! The hotel was within a 15 minute walk to almost everything. Plenty of gelato shops around as... More

I have traveled to Italy multiple times in the past 15 years and always make Rome a stop on my travels. Hotel Gea was by far the best experience I've ever had. Tucked away in a non-descript building walking distance from piazza republica and termini, the staff are polite and friendly, the rooms much more spacious than normal European hotels,... More
