In 10 min from Termini there is a nice hotel. Suddenly all rooms were repaired well. Room for 3 people were quite big, clean and well furnished. WiFi is fine. I'd like to thank Anna from cafe! She came at 6.30 to bake croissants for us cause we had early morning flight. I recommend you this hotel!

The location is awesome,we have all that we have outside,near... the owners are really nice and friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean. We didn't have a reservation, ours were canceled one night before in a hotel near " gea di vulcano hotel" ,and still, the lady owner treated us like we did. The reception its opened 24H and they speak really nice... More

Stayed in Rome for 5 days with my family in hotel Gea di Vulcano. The location is very central. All the staff was nice and helpful. Cleaning, change of linen and towels was done every day. I strongly recommend this place! We will definitely return there. Thanks to all the staff for having us!

Stayed in Rome for 8 days. All days comfortably lived and slept in this wonderful hotel. Very clean room, bathroom. Cleaning every day, change of linen and towels. Delicious fresh food for breakfast (coffee / tea, hot croissants and muffins, hum, cheese, fruit, cereal and milk). Comfortable big bed. Very friendly staff (speak English very good) - this is especially... More

While my stay in Rome I enjoyed stay in this hotel. I had a single room and while it was one of the smallest rooms I've ever experienced, it provided me with all comfort I was looking for. Breakfast room isn't also of the biggest, but again ensured all my needs. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location.... More

This was our second stay and was again perfect for our few days in Rome . Lovely staff and a great location for my places to visit while in Rome. Plenty of little bars and restaurants close by and brilliant as its so close to the train and coach station for the main airports. Breakfast was simple but very nice.

This was our first time in Italy and our first night was at Hotel Gea. It is a charming hotel, full of character and well located in Rome. A very grand building which was a haven from the bustling streets of Rome, complete with inner courtyard. The room was a good size as was the bed and we found the... More

I want to say a big thank you to all the staff and the management of this hotel for providing a fantastic stay for my parents. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
