We were arriving by train at Stazione Centrale (the main Train Station -Termini) and so I wanted to be able to find a place nearby that was reasonable, safe, quiet, and close to transportation. Hotel Gea came up in my search criteria and proved to be a wonderful choice. The staff were wonderful, our room was very clean and the... More

This small hotel is centrally located for most of the sights of Rome, and close enough to Termini to walk with your bags and the road the hotel is on has loads of buses. This doesn't mean the hotel is noisy though - it is set back enough not to be interrupted by street noise. The staff are friendly and... More

My family and I recently stayed here. The staff is fantastic! From the front desk (Alessandra and stefano) to the wonderful lady who serves an awesome breakfast! We stayed in a quad room which consisted of two rooms a living room and a bathroom. Everything is fantastic, the rooms aren't five stars, but why do you need that if you... More

We stayed here as a family in their quad rooms for 4 nights in Mid Dec. The room was clean with hot showers. We were out by 9am and back at 7pm, sightseeing. No major complaints, some road noise. The reception and breakfast servers were friendly. Simple breakfast provided and if you are looking for more, can partake from the... More

The hotel is located on the 1st floor of an old building where also private apartments, offices and a couple of other hotels are. However, it's very quiet and spacious, the room we got was huge (see pictures) and very clean. The location is more than excellent: close to the central station, to some metro stations and to the city... More

Stayed in an enormous quadruple.. 4 rooms plus. Good breakfast. Not the quietest location but central and an excellent starting point. But most importantly the service we received was outstanding - from recommendations to calm assistance when we had a 'crisis'.

This was my second visit to the Hotel. It is excellently located not far from the Termini Station and surprisingly quiet considering it is just off one of the Via Nazionale. You approach it though a courtyard. The room was comfortable and the breakfast fine. The staff were very helpful and the price is fairly average for Rome. There are... More

I have now stayed at this hotel twice the first time travelling with a friend and second just myself. Central location ; 10 mins walk to Centrale Stazione, restaurants around the area. easy to find your own way to all the city attractions. Lovely rooms, different sizes for number of guests in a group. Hot weather on arrival, air conditioning... More

When in Rome, stay at this place and you'll be in the middle of everything. Very nice hotel, great value, large rooms, comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The location is great, and most things are in walking distance - the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps... and a short cab ride to the Vatican. We had the two bedroom apartment... More
