We just loved everything about this hotel. It's so tranquil and beautiful. The staff went out of their way for us and the food was exquisite. Not one bad thing to say about our stay. Thank you to all at Castello della Castelluccia.

This hotel was such a beautiful surprise for us. Pictures don't do it justice. Delightful surprises around every corner, one of the most beautiful pools I've ever seen, a magical dinner on the terrace. Just be sure you can climb stairs! We stayed in the tower room with our two kids. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of... More

First class hotel, would highly recommend it to anyone of any age. I stayed there with my daughter as a base, to see the sites of Rome, the hotel runs a free bus to the train station which takes you into Rome in about 20 mins of €1.50 for return each, which covers you with the metro as well. It... More

If you are staying in Rome, this is a must, at least for 1 night. It is inviting, magical, clean, comfortable. The staff is amazing, the rooms are lovely and you have access to castle grounds. You can almost spend a day exploring the castle.

Had a good time at the Castle, although being a family of 4 we were in the separate annex. Pool was good, and very refreshing with most days being very hot when we were there, but not too suitable for small children as it was pretty deep (my 8 year old could just stand at one end, and I was... This was really a special Castello. Very personal service and friendly staff. Rooms were authentic with beautiful paintings on the ceilings. Balcony looked out over rolling hills of exactly what we expected the Italian countryside to look like. My wife and went for a run around the "neighborhood" are the surrounding roads are charming. We wanted to go to a... More

Overall a fantastic hotel perfect for our family holiday. The hotel itself and grounds are fabulous. We stayed in one of the garden suites. It was roomy, clean, close to the pool and had outdoor furniture. I would recommend one of these if you are travelling with children. The restaurant food was excellent, especially breakfast which is one of the... More

This is a hotel where you can relax after visiting all the sights in Rome. The castello is located in a beautiful, green area with a fantastic pool. It is quite far from everything so you have to plan to stay here for a short time, without moving. Not that that is a problem as the hotel has everything and... More

We have just returned from 5 days at this beautiful hotel. The service and facilities were excellent. One of our family members was disappointed with their 4 bedded room but they got moved the next day in to the tower family suite which was lovely. The staff on reception and the restaurant were excellent especially Federica who helped us considerably... More

I visited Rome with my boyfriend in June and we stayed in the city for a few days and finished our trip with a relaxing couple of days at this castle. We arrived and were instantly made to feel welcome. We sat by the stunning pool all afternoon which has a great atmosphere and attracts a few locals who seem... More
