A lovely well decorated castle with just the right mix of old and new. Great personnel giving service and a good feeling from the moment of arrival. A very nice and spacious room with nice en suite bathroom including slippers, bathrobes etc. The temperature can be set to your own liking. An excellent Italian kitchen, a nice choice of wines... We stayed here as part of a honeymoon trip, and it was probably the nicest place we stayed in Europe. Romantic, they did a great job of keeping the 11th century feel with modern amenities. Great breakfasts. Huge pool, which was very well maintained (someone standing there removing any bugs as soon as they fell in). There were more bugs... More

We spent a few unforgettable days in this wonderful hotel. The amazing gardens with tangerine and orange trees, beautiful flower, clear air. Evenings by the fireplace were filled with romance and calmness. The staff was very welcome, friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent - very nice, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with tasty scrambled eggs. Delicious food in the... More

This was my first trip to Italy and I wanted to stay in a castle the night of my birthday. Castello della Castellucia was absolutely perfect! Our room was upgraded to a suite which was huge and beautiful! There was champagne in the room as well when we got there. We had dinner in the restaurant,by the fire that the... More

We arrived at the hotel after being picked up from the local train station by a member of the hotel staff. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and provide such a professional service for an affordable price. Clean rooms (although there was a lizard upon our arrival, we were offered another room), excellent food, lovely surroundings. Would highly recommend!

First off this hotel is beautiful! It really looks and feels like a castle. The location is amazing as well, located just off the road in the Forrest away from busy traffic and loud roads and is about 30 minutes from Rome. The hotel staff was amazing and took care of anything we needed including driving my wife and I... More

Our stay at the Castello was everything I hoped it would be. The Castle was beautifully decorated and clean. The restaurant was five star quality. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. The grounds were lovely and relaxing. The pool was clean and refreshing. We spent all day by the pool and had a wonderful lunch during our stay. It... More

For my 30 birthday I have received from my husband a night at this amazing place. The surroundings of the castle are breathtaking, you can see troop of horses, parrots in the impressive trees, greenery all around. The inside of the Castle looks just like is supposed to: big and heavy brick walls, old style furniture and a great restaurant... More

You really feel like you've stepped back in time right from the start as you drive up the country hillside road to the castle. The castle has a very cool B&B vibe with a really nice restaurant downstairs. The rooms are classically appointed. Privacy is a lacking a little bit in that the walls are paper thin, but the atmosphere... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as an alternative to being in the centre of Rome and we were not disappointed. Welcoming and friendly staff, we had a great room with a fire place, and the restaurant was good with a good choice of wine. Being out of the city it was good that there was a shuttle bus to...
