If I hadn't read on trip advisor I would not of known the hotel is based on the 2nd floor (turn right and you will see the stairs by the old metal lift) the hotel is clean and the staff are very polite and courteous. The location is perfect - walking distance to all attractions and if you don't want... More

Excellent small hotel in the financial district of Rome. Rooms small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast room a bit small. Love the old fashioned lift. Good value for money. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of resteraunts in the area and central for most attractions

Just got back from awesome time in Rome. We arrived late on Friday night and received a warm welcome. Very happy with our rooms. On one night I wanted to watch TV, unfortunately the signal wasn't good. Upon investigating, it was a loose connection so i fixed that and had good reception. I managed to watch first half of Champions... More

This property is conveniently located. You should ask for a room on the non-street side, because the street life is late and loud. There's a great restaurant just a couple doors down (no record of the name, sorry).

When in Rome one has to decide between exceedingly expensive hotels and budget hotels. In this category Invictus is adequate when it comes to accommodation spaces. The rooms are well maintained and warm. However we have found substantial defects in terms of plumbing as hot water came and gone at its own devices. Moreover breakfast is not what one would... Hotel Ivictus is a very good hotel for its value. Located very close to the city center. We walked to mostly all of the city attractions. The lady in the breakfast room is very kind, friendly and helpfull. The rooms were very clean and especially the toilet. Most of the staff were friendly.

We were in Italy from 10/4 - 10/13/14. Stayed in three hotels. This was by far our favorite! Booked thru Gate 1. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Good breakfasts, although we had to eat in our room due to size restrictions, but I was okay with that. It's a little more off the... More

Just checked out of Hotel Invictus thru Gate1... The staff is wonderful. Front desk manager, Dilruk is patient and accurate guiding 1st timers to bus station & sights. Breakfast wait staff very accommodating. Not plush but really helpful.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
