Hotel Ivictus is a very good hotel for its value. Located very close to the city center. We walked to mostly all of the city attractions. The lady in the breakfast room is very kind, friendly and helpfull. The rooms were very clean and especially the toilet. Most of the staff were friendly.

We were in Italy from 10/4 - 10/13/14. Stayed in three hotels. This was by far our favorite! Booked thru Gate 1. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Good breakfasts, although we had to eat in our room due to size restrictions, but I was okay with that. It's a little more off the... More

Just checked out of Hotel Invictus thru Gate1... The staff is wonderful. Front desk manager, Dilruk is patient and accurate guiding 1st timers to bus station & sights. Breakfast wait staff very accommodating. Not plush but really helpful.

Paid for 3 beds, gave us 2 twin beds, we have to beg for another bed, extra pillows and bath towels. We always run out of hot water in the middle of the shower for 3 consecutive mornings. Rusty water are coming out from the faucet. On our last day, we didn't even take a shower because there was no... More

If you have to ruin your vacation pls go to Hotel Invictus Rome. Smelly rooms, horrifying entrance, no guideline to the hotel reception, bad location and they can't even provide a comforter, not even basic amenities. They claim to have free wifi that doesn't have connectivity at all. I had to stand in my room's door to get signal for... More

Good Morning, On its review are to meet to try to make things clear, we can see that she has not been found good in our hotel, but say things that are not true is a bit exaggerated. Our hotel, like most of the 3 star hotel in Rome is located on the second floor of a period building, the... More

Our room was basic but very clean and airy with a lovely little balcony. We thought the old lift up to the hotel was quirky and quaint. The staff were helpful and approachable and the cost very reasonable. It was in a good location for access to the hop on hop of busses and rome attractions. A street away there... More

I wouldn't call it a hotel, its just a makeshift arrangement. The very small reception is located on second floor. The ground floor has some offices and apartments. It would not even be licenced to operate in North America. Small rooms with absolutely no ameneties. The biggest Con - The website says its 3 star hotel. Please don't be fooled... More

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was very old, and the bed was two twins pushed together, which was as hard as concrete. I really don't like the hassle of changing hotels, eating away at my precious vacation time, so we just stuck it out. However, what was great about the hotel was the location and the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
