Our room was basic but very clean and airy with a lovely little balcony. We thought the old lift up to the hotel was quirky and quaint. The staff were helpful and approachable and the cost very reasonable. It was in a good location for access to the hop on hop of busses and rome attractions. A street away there... More

I wouldn't call it a hotel, its just a makeshift arrangement. The very small reception is located on second floor. The ground floor has some offices and apartments. It would not even be licenced to operate in North America. Small rooms with absolutely no ameneties. The biggest Con - The website says its 3 star hotel. Please don't be fooled... More

We lost power every day, not for long periods of time.. The water was often cold for showers. We could not change tv to English subtitles. The beds are two rollaway twin beds, There are no amenities - none - the breakfast - please don't eat it,,,

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was very old, and the bed was two twins pushed together, which was as hard as concrete. I really don't like the hassle of changing hotels, eating away at my precious vacation time, so we just stuck it out. However, what was great about the hotel was the location and the... More

We stayed for one night in this Hotel on route home from our holiday in Greece. It wasnt hard to find but it is not signed very well. The small lift was adequite and worked fairly well as a cage lift , bit like the ones you see in the old black and white french movies. The room was OK and... More

I was staying in this hotel during June 2013. the room got was infested with bed bugs. They byte me so much that I arrived to the emergency room at the hospital. Nigher the hotel or the agency I booked the trip via (hotwire) agreed to reimburse me for my vacation. Beside that (if it you are still reading...) the... More

We found the hotel clean and comfortable. There was an issue with our family room (they put in a cot instead of a regular bed causing our 10 year old to have to sleep in it for the first night) but they were very apologetic and rectified the situation the next morning. Our baby became ill and cried a lot... More

The very good thing about this hotel is its location, 5 min walk from Roma Termini stazione. I had a good price on Hotwire, 120$can per night. The price was very clean, service was good and the breakfast was ok, except the coffee, which I think was instant (??! In Italy?). It was very quiet. I recommend it!

We (early 50s couple and teenager) arrived on a very, very hot day and were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Located about a 10 minute wake from the Termini, on a quiet street, this hotel was in an older building on a couple of floors. The older elevator, cage type, only held 2 people comfortably, but worked reliably. Our room... More

I wish Tripadvisor had a way of awarding half points. This is an above average hotel hence the 4/5 rating as I felt we 3/5 would be too low. We were initially surprised that there is no ground floor front desk. Hotel Invictus has the full 2nd, and parts of the 4th and 5th floors of a regular rome apartment... More
