We selected Ariana B&B becouse is near Termini station, and all public transportation. We were family with one child. Child slept with us and the bed was big enough. We shared bathroom with two rooms and there was no problem, but it all depends on the culture of the people :) Iz was clean. Cleaning lady came every day. There... More

We stayed at Ariana B&B 3 nights in july 2013 and it was great! We didn't expected such a nice place regarding to what we paid for it! When we arrived a very nice guy welcomed us, gave us the keys (for the room and the entrance --> the place was secure!). As said on their website there was Wi-Fi... More

We have booked Ariana BB, but we were pleasantly surprised when on the arrival day staff lead us to a bigger room on Bella Roma BB. The welcoming guy Mose was friendly, hospitable and gave us useful information. We were also given a cash receipt, which added more confidence towards hostel. The only drawback is that we were informed that... More

Ariana B&B is located just a few minute walk from Rome Termini Station so it's good especially if you need to catch any public transportation. We were a party of 4 and got a bigger room with a double bed and double decker bed. The shared bathroom was insufficient for all the occupants especially in the morning and has extremely... More

Some rooms are larger than others. We got a tiny room in 96/A, but it was very clean and equipped with everything necessary. Fast wifi, a wardrobe, a safe, air conditioning, large windows, ceiling fan, TV. The bed we got was pieced together with 2 twin beds, and you can feel the ridge in the middle, and sagging around it.... More

I would like to thank Ariana hotel for the provided service. It was a bit difficult to find the owner of the hotel to check-in but with people's help we did manage. His apartment is on the opposite from Ariana's street -in the house with a garden. Two guys-owners were extremely polite and helpful, they even explained where to go... More

We had the worst experience here. I was travelling to Rome for the first time.. Firstly, it is a set of apartments in different places around the termini station that is collectively called B&B, so there is no one particular building you can look up to.. The owner comes and there is one lady who carries your luggage to the... More

We were moved from Ariana B&B to Rosa B&B, so I think it is the same for both of these B&B. Why were we moved? Because they didn't expect our arrival, despite our confirmation Emails. So after asking us names written by hand on a rag paper, I swho him the Email conversation and he called a woman who brought... More

We stayed at the Ariana B&B for one night. We arrived at the Hollywood Hotel 9:30am (far before check-in) and we were shown to our room almost immediately. We were also offered breakfast when we arrived. Staff was very friendly. We had the first room on the right which was small, but had a double bed (not two beds pushed... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
