The location is very cosy, in the heart of Rome, near to the streets of the best shopping, short walk to the major archaeological sites. The room is very nice, quiet and with comfort. We would stay there again.

We asked our Roman friends to recommend a good spot for a hotel for our one week vacation in Rome, and Hotel Manfredi was their top suggestion. Located on a quiet back street just a short walk away from Plaza Spagna and the Rome Metro station, this was a great place to stay for a week with our family. Just... More

We stayed at the Hotel Manfredi at the recommendation of our travel agent and must say -- we were NOT disappointed! The location is a few blocks away from the Spanish Steps and is on a very quiet street. The hotel elevator is a very old lift which blends perfectly with Rome -- it used to be an old theater... Our family stayed at the Hotel Manfredi in June and it was in an ideal location yet situated on a lovely, quiet street away from the crowds. It was a very short walk to the Spanish steps and a comfortable walk to the Colloseum, Vatican and most major sites in Rome. The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful.... More

The hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance to all major attractions in Rome and located in the heart of the high end shopping area. There are also numerous good restaurants by the hotel. The room we chose was likely the smallest in the hotel, but it was still very manageable and comfortable. The staff was friendly,... More

Quiet street, minutes away from Spanish steps and a key shopping area with very high end shops but also regular retail stores and an abundance of restaurants. Hotel originally was an old theatre and still maintains the charm with the beautiful winding staircases (in addition to an elevator) The walk to our room made us feel like we backstage at... More

We stayed at another property on via Margutta for three days before we rented a Umbrian villa for a week. Originally, on our return to Rome we were booked at another hotel in a different part of the city but we LOVED via Margutta so much, we changed our reservation. Hotel Manfredi is in a building that houses two other... More

The hotel staff were superb, especially Allessandro and Lydia. The breakfast was very good and had an expansive selection. The room was clean and decorated very nice. The location was ideal, within a block of the Spanish Steps and within walking distance of just about everywhere.

This hotel was just alright for us since we had just come from two amazing hotels. It's clean and modern. Quiet rooms, even for an awesomely high-trafficked location. The shower was a colorful body-spraying experience, but I could barely tell how to turn the thing on. Decent breakfast, staff was busy and a bit short, but again I think it... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
