We stayed for 8 nights in March at this most pleasant hotel located on charming Via Margutta. All of the staff were most helpful, pleasant and courteous. Our room overlooked the quiet street and was very comfortable, decorated in lovely Roman colours and spotless. Breakfast was very nice (I enjoyed the yogurt and ricotta tart both fatto a casa -... Great hotel in a fantastic location - right in the middle of the shopping district and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I'm not a good sleeper so had searched for quiet hotels and this really is. It is on a quiet up market shopping street. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was small but we... More

Enjoyed our stay at the Manfredi near the end March 2015. Great hotel character and location. The guest rooms and common rooms are well maintained and very clean. The desk staff was always welcoming and we found Emanuele to be especially helpful. The walls are a bit thin (rude guest next door) and shower clumsy but overall this is a... More

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at Manfredi Suites. Location was absolutely terrific -- a quiet street yet just steps from the action (and convenience of a metro stop) at Spanish Steps. The breakfast buffet was a big winner with all members of the family (including kids ages 8-15). Fabulous fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, eggs &... More

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Italy. It was the perfect location (for us) in Rome; within walking distance to Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, etc. The hotel is located in a quiet area, almost hidden really. The streets surrounding the hotel have such a rustic, beautiful personality. We visited in the summer but the hotel didn't... More

Dear Guest, First of all thank you very much to have been our nice guest. The Hotel Manfredi is situated inside the ex Teatro Alibert, built between 1716 and 1718 at the behest of Antonio d'Alibert, son of James d'Alibert that he had already built the theater Tordinona. He did not have a real facade but three entrances, one of... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
