Located on beautiful via margutta, this place is fantastic!! Can't say enough about the staff (say hi to Daniella for us!). Extremely helpful with tips on where to go to shop (that wouldn't break the bank!!) and the touristy stuff too. Location can't be beat, close to the Spanish Steps and walking distance to buses and taxi stands that will... more

Great hotel located close to the 7 steps. decor is flamboyant everything is red and gold, rooms are small but this is normal in Rome as space is at a premium. Satyed here several times for business, service is excellent and can recommend so great places. The hotel is small with few facilities but is cosy, charming and has excellent... more

I stayed for one night (on business) at the Hotel Manfredi - 24th September 09. I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful and friendly staff - this is not always the case in hotels I use in Italy. The room was clean, quiet and modern, with everything at your fingertips. However, it was small. I had a double for single... more

I travel agent who lives in Florence booked this hotel for me, and I couldn't have asked for anything better! After visiting 7 different cities in Italy, this hotel had the best breakfast. The location was perfect and within walking distance to so many popular attractions, Spanish steps, shopping, Trevi Fountain, bus stop for the Hop on Hop Off Bus.... more

... the Hotel Manfredi. It's a hidden gem on a side street just around the corner from the Spanish Steps. It's situated on the 3rd floor of an old building which also houses the Hotel Flora on the 1st floor. But fear not, there is a quaint old lift to get you up and down. Unless you pay extra for... more

We spent 4 nights in this hotel in late May. The service was very good; the staff was fluent in English and was helpful with the questions we had. The room was comfortable with good bedding, a little small, but no worse than one normally sees in Europe. It is very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, on... more

The Manfredi is the type of place I normally would not tell people about, like a good fishing hole. The hotel is very nicely maintained, the staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet of fresh baked croisants and pastries, home made yogurt and meats, cheeses, cereals and fresh fruit was one of the best I have had in Italy.... more

We have just returned from Hotel Manfredi after staying there for 3 nights (Aug 21 to 24th). The hotel room is magnificent (very high class). The room/bathroom were above and beyond what we expected. The service from all the staff was excellent as well. They were all very friendly and helpful. It made us feel very well cared for. Rome... more

The first problem with this hotel is that they do not have a 24/7 doorman or reception area. At about 8 every night, they lock the doors and you need to ring a bell in order to be let back into the hotel. The reception is actually on the 2d floor of the building, so you can't even see anyone... more
