This hotel at lovely via Margutta is very good for my needs, stayed there for 3 nights and it was excellent (for Italy). The room and bathroom are like almost hotel in Italy, very very small. But this hotel is quite near to the most major atractions and shopping. I liked there so much. The staff were very helpfull and... more

My husband and I traveled to Italy for the first time in early Sept. A friend recommended Hotel Forte to us because we were looking for a nice, clean, and reasonably priced hotel in Rome. This combintation was proving to be difficult to find as we were quickly learning that Rome is VERY expensive. We went to Hotel Forte's Web... more

This was a great place to stay right my the Spanish Steps. I arrived early and couldn't get an early check in. The hotel gave me great instructions and directions to the sites I wanted to see for the day. I had a great day touring around and when I got to the room I was exhausted. It was very... more

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was in the perfect spot for a tourister, walking distance to everything. The staff at the Hotel Forte was so helpful and nice. I was a solo traveler so they made me feel very welcomed and helped me plan all my day trips. The room itself was a bit small but that is common... more

The location can not be beat. It is close to the Spanish steps and a metro station. We used this hotel to see Rome before our cruise and walked easily to most of the sites or used the metro. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The room was small but we were there to sleep and clean-up. The airconditioning... more

We booked and PAID for our hotel stay in advance for two nights. Due to unforseen circumstanses we needed to cut our trip short. Hotel Forte was scheduled for the last two days of the trip, but I went there to see if I could change the reservation dates. In no way shape or form would they allow this. Of... more

In a fantastic location, quiet and clean. Rooms a little small though if you care too much about that. Lovely breakfast included, the service was very good. Just don't go with the hotels preffered taxi company, they charge extra and dropped us off at the wrong terminal. more

We just returned from a cruise out of Rome and stayed for 2 extra nights in Rome before flying home. We stayed at the Forte Hotel and could not have made a better choice. Sure the rooms are small, but it is 2 blocks from the spanish steps in the old part of Rome and all accomodations are small in... more

First, if you are traveling to Europe for the first time you need to understand that space is at a premium. Most hotel room are on the small size, however Forte was quite roomy for the price. Second you need to consider location, safety, and budget. With the city of Rome you also need to understand most of your time... more

We stayed at the Hotel Forte after we saw photos of their roof top apartment with wonderful views. This is the apartment I booked and paid for, but was not what we got. When we arrived at the hotel and were shown to our room i honestly thought we'd been taken to a cupboard. The receptionist explained that the aprtament... more
