I spent one night in Hotel Forte and was very satisfied. The location of the Hotel was excellent, the room was not very big, but beautiful and with all I needed. The cost was very convenient. Breakfast was fine. All in all I highly recommend this hotel.

Location, location. location. This small three star hotel is located within steps of the Spanish Steps in the heart of shopping and touring. The lobby is on the second floor of the building. Our first room was tiny. That is the one con. Very small room with room for one piece of luggage. Bathroom adequate but equally small. We were... More

We spent one night at the Hotel Forte in Rome and it was awful. Morbid dark room, facilities for breakfast was so small and cramped and no lounge or sitting area to relax and watch TV. No roof garden etc. Good position but honestly one of the worst hotels I have stayed in years. I would not recommend it to... More

This is a very charming hotel on a quiet street close to everything.....We were able to walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navonna Piazza, Pantheon, Borghesi Gardens , across the Tiiber River and more. Restaurants and Gelaterris are on every nearby street. A delicious full breakfast is included with our stay. Thumbs up to the staff for their excellent service.... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
