Owner who greeted us was friendly and helpful. The b&b is on the 4th floor up some steep stairs but no problem for us. The place is a cute and cosy place; best for couples or friends I'd say. You are not able to cook your own food but there is access to included coffee and pastries/bread/fruit which is nice.... More

The b&b was well equipped, clean & Nadia made us very welcome with tips of where to visit. It's only a 15 min stroll to the colosseum so we walked pretty much everywhere from the b&b, best way to take in a city, although the metro is only 2 streets away to get you to the other side of the... More

Breakfast and free wi-fi are a nice touch and the owners are helpful if you have any questions or need some ideas where to go. Overall, good value and a... More

My friends and I stayed here for three nights, and the place exceeded all our expectations. We took 2 rooms for the 5 of us, both of which were large and comfortable. The accompanying bathrooms were well stocked and clean (the heated towel racks were a wonderful touch). The best part though was the abundance of snack food (cakes, fruit,... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
