This place was perfect for a stay in Rome, conveniently just around the corner from the termini. The staff were all excellent, Daniel even stayed up and waited for us when we were late checking in. They provide fresh croissants and a well stocked kitchenette to make your own food, and everything is clean. Great value.

This wee hostel was so great . Small and quiet and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It's only a short 2 minute walk from termeni rail station and about 20 minute walk from most of the major roman sites - so a fantastic location. It was really well priced and a massive bonus getting fresh croissants for breakfast... More

It was not the best hostel I stayed but it was nice and clean. Onlt problem we had, we had a room with a sofa bed instead of a twin bed. It was very uncomfortable. When we wanteed to chang room they said there was no room available. But then they gave us a discont, which was nice and surprising.... More

Starting with the location, 5 minutes walking distance from Termini train station. Easy reach to all the best spots and local convenience shops a stones throw from the door. You will be greeted by one of the girls who are in the reception at the 1st floor of this traditional Italian style building. The room I was in, was a... More

The hostel is very close to Termini station and Republica. One of the girls is not nice, the rest of the service is very nice, helpful and always smiling, they can be fun to talk to. The price was very good, room and bathroom as well. The kitchen is fantastically equipped. I highly recommend, the only thing negative is that... More

Spent two nights here and was very happy. It's clean, beds are comfy, great shower, croissant and coffee breakfast, use of the kitchen until 10pm and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is close to Termini and way to find. I missed it but on the second night, they had free pasta and wine for anyone who wanted... More

This is no frills but comfortable, secure, well-run, well-priced place with very nice and helpful people. There is a full kitchen to use with all the things to cook, a refrigerator, storage, comfortable beds. Near a lot of shops, the National Museum of Rome (Not as touristed as other sites but NOT TO MISS for what is in it. You... More

From a location point of you its close to shops and places to eat, and also close to the train station. The service in the hotel was fantastic. It was quiet whilst wew were there at the end of November but the place was very clean. Our room was very spacious and slept 5, with very cool bunk beds.

This hostel has been one of the best I have been in. Great location, clean and above all a great and helpful staff who actually know what they are talking about. Two metro stations around the corner that will take you anywhere you want to go. Fresh coffee and a sweet surprise in the morning for a great start of... More

This hostel is quiet, clean and close to the main transport hub of Rome. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of things to cook with - this saved me a lot of money. There is an excellent supermarket just around the corner. I stayed here for two weeks! The kitchen was a bit dark and the breakfast... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
