My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. For a 3 star hotel it is exceptionally high quality. The room was average size we were expecting it to be a lot smaller after reading the reviews! There was plenty of space for our luggage. The free water both still and sparkling in the corridors was very convenient and goes... More

This hotel was the first on a Trafalgar tour. However, we checked a couple of days early and got a feel for the hotel without the tour schedules. We found Il Cantico to be a clean, modern hotel (about 3 years since renovation) with an excellent front desk staff. The rooms are smallish by American standards. The bathroom is small,... More

This hotel was within easy walking distance to the Vatican. Its location a block off a busy street meant the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good, typical of all the Italian hotels we stayed in. Took me a while to figure out how to open the shutters on the windows, but once I did, had a nice view and... More

Nice hotel on a hill. Very close to the Vatican. We only stayed a couple of nights but the rooms were very comfortable. They did not give us a family room so we had to book 2 rooms for the 4 of us. The hotel is close to shops and mini bistros so restaurant options are many. The breakfast is... More

We stayed at this hotel at the start of our Italy tour. Great location; modern, clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. Food in the restaurant was "quite good". Unfortunately - the water for showers at night (on each of the three nights of our stay) was luke warm at best. And Internet in our room was 1 bar strength which repeatedly... More

This was a our first hotel in a serious of hotels on a tour of Italy. This hotel's location was wonderful. One street off a main road, 5 mins from St Peter's and 20 mins from the subway. We only had the chance to eat in the restaurant once but it was lovely. The gelato is not be missed. Don't... More

This hotel is approximately a 5 min walk to the St. Peter's Basillica and a nice 20-30 minutes walk to the main part of Rome. Staff could not be more helpful. Very limited English channels on the TV. Rooms are modern, new and clean. Hotel is set on a slight hill, one street back from the main road. Taxi to... More

We were in this hotel for three nights with our 5 "children", and had fantastic days. It's at 10 minutes walking distance of the Vatican. In front of the hotel you have a bus to the centre (Piazza Venezia) in 20 minutes. In the evening you can walk to the Piazza Navona or Campo Del Fiori in 30-40 min. And... More

This was our first hotel for our group during a recent tour of Italy in September. The hotel is at the top of a hill. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. The roof terrace had a great view of the Vatican, and was especially pretty at night. The buffet breakfast was good with many different foods available, eggs, bacon... More
