My fiancé surprised me by booking us in this suite after he secretly flew over to propose. These private suites are fabulous - they are expensive but if you have something to celebrate - then they are worth the extra. The room itself if so luxurious and well equipped. The breakfast the next morning is standard continental fare - but... More

My wife and I stayed here in October 2014. The location is perfect! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel is very close to the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was surprisingly quiet, considering it is right in the heart of the city. We stayed in... More

We stayed at the hotel during October. Very nice hotel, very clean and very comfortable. The only drawbacks are problematic wifi in the room (we were in room adriano) and the lighting that was poor. But everything else was just perfect! Excellent service, we received a number of recommendations for restaurants, the staff were very pleasant and courteous as well... More

I had spent hours trying to find the perfect hotel for our week-long stay in Rome. We wanted the perfect location, modern amenities, quiet. This hotel certainly delivered on those plus a lot more. The location is the best. It is right in the middle of everything. Couldn’t be better. It certainly has all the modern amenities, very comfortable bed,... More

In a city with a huge choice of hotels there are plenty of reasons to choose Campo Marzio. Firstly the location, it is in easy reach of all the main sites in the Centro Storico and beyond by foot. You can be at The Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and Trevino Fountain in 10 mins. However despite the hustle of... More

I just spent 4 nights there and absolutely loved it! Location is perfect 7 minutes from piazza Ancona 5 minutes from pantheon, 5 mins from Spanish steps and lots of shopping to be done nearby. The hotel is in a busy, well lit street so I always felt safe walking home at night alone so very good if travelling alone!!... More

We truly loved every moment at this lovely place set in the middle of Rome. From reservation to departure our Campo Marzio experience was simply wonderful. The location is PERFECT. Just behind the Parliament so it was quiet at night and lively in the daytime...surrounded by shopping with a couple of great little restaurants nearby and you can walk to... More

This hotel is fabulous!!! We used the hotel's cab service from the airport to and from the hotel and that was really worth the money. We were welcomed right away and they upgraded our room to the Cleopatra Room because they found out we were there for our special 25th Anniversary. We would highly recommend the Cleopatra Room! It was... More

This place was marvelous! A wonderful location, tucked away on a side street but right in Campo Marzio area with all of the beautiful designer shops around. It was very quiet in the room and the bed was very very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The shower is HEAVENLY, with a great rain shower. More importantly than the excellent... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
