minutes from the Spanish steps or the Trevi fountain or via Ventio you can not go wron staying here. The hotel is old but does not look it. the staff is very friendly and speak English. The elevator is small one person one piece of luggage at a time. I used the stairs most of the time. Beds are comfortable... More

I like the fact that it's near of many must see touristic attractions. Yes, the elevator is so small and it was fun the first day we had to use it, however I use the stairs instead. Breakfast is good and the staff was super friendly. It's not a top of the line place but it works good enough to... More

Good central location, bit cramped but our party struggled to have hot showers. Not surprisingly this is down to the demands made of the boiler but even at 5am the showers were still icy cold. Staff helpful so not bad overall.

Easy to get to from the train station... a metro ride away or walk or take a taxi. It is just around the corner from Spagna Square which is the centre of everything. Metro stop, taxi stand, spanish steps etc. It was a lovely hotel. My room had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy, the towels were soft... More

We recently stayed in the Concordia and whilst it was our first visit to Rome, we would definately go back to this hotel. It is situated in a quiet road, but is within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. (They are both in the process of being refurbished/renovated). Space is obviously at a premium, being... More

It did the job, very close to what we wanted. Reasonable standard,:could nit pick but on the whole it was fine. i would echo some comments but most are trivial points and i would not let it spoil the trip. We were out for the most of our time. Great view at breakfast, food was ok, and the tiny lift... More

Although nothing fancy, this hotel's strongest asset is location. Five minutes to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the train station. Literally right across the street is a lovely outdoor café with an excellent menu. Staff are great and eager to please plus the view from the rooftop complimentary breakfast is fantastic as you literally have the Vatican as your... More

The location is great you are just a few blocks from the Spanish steps and on a metro line. The room is old. We had the air conditioner on the entire time if we turned it off there was a funny smell. The shower is very small and the toilet seat was very loose. It was very clean as was... More

This hotel has four floors using a spiral staircase as the lift is not quite bug enough for two people let alone suitcases. The carpets are worn tired and stained. Air conditioning was not great either. The bathroom was mouldy and the sower cubicle no bigger than two square foot. It us we'll positioned but the price we paid was... More

We stayed in room 401 for 5 days in July 2014. We were first given room 405 with an air conditioner that did not work. When they fixed it, we were out of the room and they got a huge amount of dust all over the floor and inside my suitcase, not a great first impression. When we requested a... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
