An odd location that doesn't even look like a hotel. But enter the courtyard, up the tiny elevator a few flights and you are in the very comfortable and clean Lilium. If I had one drawback, it would be that no matter where you are, the street noise of Rome is never too far away.

Simple but stylish, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Continental breakfast nice and served in lovely airy room, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Happy to make me hot chocolate as I don't drink coffee. First time in Rome and the hotel had character, but felt at home straight away.

Just spent a very pleasant four days in sunny Rome staying at the Hotel Lillium, tucked away behind vast wooden doors it really felt like you were being let into a secret sanctom away from the busy street, room was small but cosy with sheltered balcony, breakfast room was beutifull

I was visiting Rome after having lived there for 3 years. This hotel felt authentic and it felt like home. Subtle, well designed, simple; nice continental breakfast. Back in the land where the pasta is al dente and the coffee tastes like milkshakes. Conveniently located and staff is nice.

Safe place. Near the Ministry of Defence and the Central Bank. The police do not need it. Central Station nearby. But far to not interfere. Hot croissants for breakfast. Little thing but nice. A room with a balcony. Illuminated and table with benches. In winter the summer in Rome. You drink wine and below the story of life. Here everything... More

I've travelled alot in my life and Been and seen awful hotels. This one is one of them. The staff is absolutely redicilous, from the reception guy that looks and acts in a creepy way, to the breakfast room girl, that never smiled in her life. It looks like you get into one of those horror movies with a haunted... More

Very convenient location - close to the main attractions in Rome. At the same time - not far from the train station Termini but not too close. Clean and comfortable rooms. Located in a residential home. Rather B&B but not a full hotel. Not bad for the price-to-quality (110 euros per day). The minuses - old small TVs in the... More

This hotel was a little hard to find, hidden away on a strret in Rome and getting to the hotel was a bit of a task due to a not so safe looking lift or about 5 flights of stairs as the option to reaching it. However, once in the hotel the service was very friendly and helpful, the staff... More

We booked the Lilium with no references from others. We were so very impressed with all aspects of this intimate, small hotel. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. I loved the flooring in the hallway - may sound odd, but it was stunning - wide, wood panels in a deep purple/aubergine, finished with a high gloss (this does... More
