The hotel is located on a single floor of a much larger building, so at first is a bit difficult to locate. However this little find was one of our favorite hotels during our stay in Europe. This is by no means a fancy hotel- it is a quaint, clean, inexpensive find near many shops, restaurants, and about a 10... More

Very clean, quiet, full of character, a good breakfast and helpful staff. Tremendous value and walking distance to majority of attractions. What more do you need? Hotel is on 4th floor of building. Ring bell for entry to inner courtyard, climb stairs to first floor and then call lift. As I said, it's FULL of character!!

I am not pleased at all of this hotel. The rooms are very small and uncomfortable. The lift was almost every day out of order. The day we left was also out of order and nobody of reseption asked if we need help to go down or just to say "sorry for the lift". They asked to pay the amount... More

This hotel was a little gem, clean, friendly staff and pretty with some lovely street views. The breakfast is simple, fresh and will fill a gap for the long day ahead. Rooms are spotless and cleaned each day with clean towels etc. Ours had a little balcony which was lovely to drink a glass of wine before going out for... More

I stayed here for two nights in December 2015 on a trip which mixed business with some sightseeing. I wanted a hotel which was within walking distance of La Sapienza University, Termini railway station and the centro storico and this fitted the bill perfectly. The only difficulty I had with the hotel was finding it in the dark. It is... More

We wanted to spend a couple of days in Rome before starting a cruise out of Civitavecchia, and from exploring trip advisor recommendations, settled on this quaint little hotel located a short distance from Termini Station. Once arrived at the address, we were happily surprised to see that Lilium Hotel was discreetly nestled in an old building behind these very... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and though I did not love Rome itself, this hotel greatly improved my impression of the city. The balcony room we booked was gorgeous, with a chair and tables on the balcony and an automatic shade that darkened the room for sleep and glistened when the sun shone through in the morning.... Absolutely lovely unique small hotel. A bit tricky find (hint it's on the 3rd floor). My room had a lovely balcony, witch made me feel so Italian! Very convenient location, couple mins to different bus stops. But the most remarkable is the stuff. All of them were extremely friendly and great with recommendations and directions. I'll be back for sure!... More

This is such a lovely hotel on Via XX Settembre. Situated on the 4th floor of an apartment building - it can be easily missed and overlooked from the outside. Once you step in you'll have a lovely time. The place is very clean, polished and sparkly. Exquisite really. The staff friendly and helpful. Our room didn't have a view... More

I cannot say enough about this hotel. When we arrive, it was like we were arriving at home. A puppy greeted us and the owners were all smiles. This hotel is small and very quit. Lovely décor and great breakfast that is included.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
