Located very near some of the great restaurants in Rome (a block away from some of the best gelato in Rome), this hotel is a charming place to rest during your visit to Rome. It's a ten minute walk to the Roma Termini and Metro station. It's a twenty to thirty minute walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, etc... But... More

at the first encountering before finding the hotel in the 3th floor of an old Italian building you cant imagine why is it beautiful! the old and very colored atmosphere with some nice staff is a wonderful place for staying in Roma more than one week. the blue-green color on the walls and small breakfast room are so memorable. i... Lovely quaint Hotel. Centrally located. The Hotel staff went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. From helping us find a parking spot that we did not have to pay for, to sourcing out a luggage scale when we were concerned about baggage being overweight. Rooms a little small- yes, but very clean and well appointed (queen... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lilium! The staff was very friendly and helpful--they could answer all of our questions! The hotel is situated near the Termini train station and some subway stops, as well as other main Rome attractions. The hotel lobby, breakfast room, and our room were each very quaint and elegantly decorated. The breakfast provided was... More

Thanks to other trip advisor reviewers we had no issue finding this hotel. We walked from Termini, along Via Goito and the big wooden doors are right in front of you. If you read the names on the buzzers, one is for Lilium. If you press it they just buzz you in, you don't need to speak in the buzzer.... More

This hotel was very difficult to find in the dark during a thunderstorm so I would plan ahead and print off a map just in case. As you come out of the hotel, turn left, cross the road and there is an incredible gelatto shop (think it is top 5 in Rome)! The hotel was very beautiful - we especially... More

Spent 6 nights at the Lilium Hotel and can say that it was a very good experience indeed. The hotel's decor is sort of unique and the room was comfortable. The staff was very helpful throughout the day and attentive to our needs. The breakfast selection was the same every day but nevertheless there is nothing to complain about the... More

That will always stay as a nice remembering of Rome. That is so at the same feeling of Rome - very tiny and romantic at the same time. Friendly stuff will make you feel comfy. Bit noisy in early mornings. Also that was kind of hard to find, there is only one ring-bell with a name of Lilliumhotel, so please... More

Stayed here on our honeymoon in 7/2012. Clean rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. A/C worked (thank goodness!), shower was fine, and the beds were comfy enough to sleep on. The room was small, but it didn't matter for us because we were only in there overnight, or for a siesta. It was a ten minute nice walk to the subway... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
