My husband and I stayed here for one night on our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was included and was delicious! I recommend getting the table by the window so you can see the city while you eat. The room and bathroom was very small but clean. We had a room with a little court yard which was really... More

Ok, this Hotel was in a great location, Free Wifi, complimentary light breakfast, 15 walk minutes from the Train Station with bags and was quirky and charming. However, we spent a lot of time choosing our Hotel in Rome and went away feeling very disappointed! There was an overwhelming smell of Sewage in our bathroom for our 3 night stay,... More

we went to the Lilium Hotel as over spill from the nearby seven kings Hotel, and it was very comfortable and lovely deco, and great views from the lounge and breakfast area, Breakfast was tasty and staff was very good and pleasant, lots of good restaurants around (and one of the best gelato spots in the city 20 meters away), and... Lilium Hotel was comfortable and a great value! Breakfast was tasty, lots of good restaurants around (and one of the best gelato spots in the city 20 meters away), and close to bus stops. Even taking a cab was not too expensive as the hotel is located close to many popular sites. If you're expecting a US-sized hotel room you... More

Lovely hotel, great staff and outstanding breakfast. Very easy to get public transport to all of the sites of Rome. Not recommended for folks who cannot manage a few uneven steps: you have to go up a few to get to the lift. Did I mention all the restaurants!

lovely little hotel if a little hard to find (follow instructions in other reviews!) but we found it! Room was nice but a little bare - could have done with some more pillows, a blanket and a kettle would have been nice. But they did give you boiling water with cups upon request. Great having a balcony. Lovely breakfast room... More

This is a real hidden gem close to the centre of Rome. A boutique hotel property in quite a grand old apartment building, the Lilium is one of those secret places that one usually only hears about by word of mouth. The rooms are not big, but many have a large terrace off the bedroom. Everything is absolutely pristine and... More

The hotel is a bit difficult to find for first timers however, once you find it, it is easy to navigate your way around. The Roma Termini is about 8-10 mins walk. There are a couple of restaurants and churches nearby. Rome is such a lovely city and you can just walk around and find lots of nice places. The... More

It will be very difficult for first timers to locate this hotel. Would suggest to get airport transfers. The hotel was very nice, the breakfast was awesome! The hotel ambiance is not modern and I liked it very much because the way it was arranged was so Italian. Staffs are very friendly and will help you with anything. Its a... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
