This hotel is located just a few blocks from the Colosseum which was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms where clean and the amenities were adequate. However, the room was small and the price was a little expensive considering the size of the room. But in the end, it was worth... more

I was with my family 5 night in this hotel, in a triple room, 2nd floor. The staff are frendly and the breakfast was more than our expectation (salami, mortadela, butter, chees, fresh orange 1l on the table, more than 3 kind of cakes, milk, and coffe - american, espresso, capucino, toasts, honney,...). From the hotel it possible to book... more

We were 4 girls! travel for budget holidays. The hotel was in great location, apr.5 min walking distance to Coloseum. We stayed in apartment on other side of street. The room was on the 2nd floor. It was clean and nice. Window was on street side. We felt like we were living in real Italian house, cos it was quite... more

First night, we were given a room that had the sign PRIVATE on it & was located just in corridor next to the breaksfast area... it was underground as well and really near the reception area... result : hardly any sleep since we could hear everyone come back at all hours & woke up really early from hearing people having... more

This hotel is good for three things - Location, Price and the fact that breakfast was included. When we first arrived they tried to put us in a room across the street, however it was so small that it looked like a prison cell! So we complained and they gave us a (slightly) better room in the main building. I've... more

We stayed here with our 2 children in a quadruple room. The location was great, we could walk everywhere, but the hotel itself- I would not recommend to anyone who needs to walk when in a room! We were in a room across the road from the main hotel with our 2 children, no lifts, it was a massive effort to... more

Rome is our last destination in Italy and we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Overall experience is not good. Cons - A hassle to get to our room. We had been allocated a room in the building across the street. 3 keys were required to get to our room. 1st key - to get inside the building. 2nd... more

We rented a room for 5 people at this hotel and it was large and very clean. The room had a bedroom and another room with a fridge and two more beds in it. The bathroom was small but had a shower and toilet and a non working bidet. The room had an air conditioner that worked well. Staff was... more

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hotel Anfiteatro Flavio in Rome. The hotel is very central, at walking distance from Stazione Termini and from Via Nazzionale (famous for shopping) and Via Cavour. Very close to the Colosseum, which is lovely - beware of the gladiators because they will rip off your money for taking pics with you!!... more

My husband & I have just returned from the Anfiteatro Flavio Hotel, on the positive side it is in a great area, bars & resturants and shops all near by. The sights are all walkable from here. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. We were given a room in an apartment block across the road, the apartment has been... more
