This is a very basic hotel in a brilliant location near the Colosseum and Forum. The room was small and shabby but clean with blackout curtains and shutters to keep out the noise of the street below, which was buzzing until the early hours. We had a basic bathroom with toilet, bidet, washbasin and shower that an overweight person would... More

I gave this hotel one star and that is for the terrace-the best part of this hotel! We are a family of four that requested and received confirmation of l double bed and 2 twin beds. First room- 2 twin beds pushed together (that's their double bed) and a sofa bed less then 18 inches off the floor. (We traveled... More

Stayed here for three nights in March. The hotel was in the perfect location right next to the Colosseum and as we didn't spend much time in the room it was fine for what we paid. The room was spacious and clean with a nice shower but that was about it. The breakfast was extremely poor with a very, very... More

Greatly located hotel, just minutes from Colosseum, which can be seen right from the street of Via dei Serpenti. The hotel is pretty small, with tiny elevator, but the rooms are spacious enough for 2 people. The room was nice and clean, bathroom was alright as well. One of the coins - noise from adjoining room is quite audible. Hotel... More

This hotel was a perfect match for us for our first time in Rome! Located in central/ancient rome. You can see the Coliseum from the street, Forum also about a 8-10 minute walk. Walking distance to Trevi, Piazza Novona, and main shopping streets. Staff were very helpful, room was always clean, and not to mention located on a street were... More

We had a great journey at the hotel. The room was even bigger than we expected from the reservation, cleaned and very confortable. Very near the Colosseo, 3 minutes on foot. The hotel is in the center and on foot you can go everywhere. A young girl at the reception was very kind and sweet but other days there was... More

This is the second time that we have stayed at this Hotel, the previous occasion was four years ago. When I booked I was told that the hotel had been refurbished. However the only difference I could see was that the breakfast area had been totally transformed. We had two rooms between us and they were showing signs of wear... More

All what i may say, it's good location of this hotel. All the rest, much below the average level. Our check-in procedure took more than 15 min. Despite to the fact that booking has been done through booking.com and they had all my data, we have been required to fill endless quantity of forms. It was looking like we trying... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
