I read in Tripadvisor about an rude older lady serving breakfast there before I booked the hotel. Yes, she is still there and she is still very very rude. We decided to have our breakfast in another room just to avoid seeing her. The breakfast was reasonable. Look for ants in the sugar bottle, they work hard. The location of... more

We stayed two nights from the 15th to the 17th of September 2009. We stayed in the double room 'Tacito' on the ground floor. We payed 160€, with 10% in advance. Location: The location is great, just some hundred meters from the Colosseo. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant (they serve only breakfast), but there are many restaurants close to... more

While this hotel is very cheap and in a central location, if this is all you can afford then stay home until you have saved more money. more

Behind the busy street Via Nazionale we have found a great (not to big) bed and breakfast hotel. The employés were very kind and the breakfast was very good.. The room we had was cleaned every day. And with the heat of the summer, the aircondtioning did his work good. At the reception there were great people helping us with... more

Good location, within easy walking distance of the Colosseum. Lots of shops/gelato right there. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. Room is small and a little noisy. No elevator. Cleanliness only OK. Breakfast was only OK. Breakfast area was crowded. Worst cappuccino I had while in Europe. Staff recommended La Carbonara, a couple of blocks away, for dinner. It... more

As other guests have said, this is a great hotel in a great location if you are on a tight budget and you can get a good deal. That being said, the rooms are a bit smelly and dated, the breakfast choices and hours( 7:30 - 9:30) are very poor, and the lobby is tiny. BUT: The staff at the... more

Every room is equipped with: Private bath, Direct telephone, Color TV, A/C and Central Heating, Fridge, Hairdryer, Safe Box This is all true. Great value for money. Air condo gave me a cold as I could not regulate it. Very near Metro Cavour & Colleso. You can see the coliseum from the hotel! Fantastic location! Very active nightlife for young... more

Good location, very near Cavour Metro and you could easily walk around to all major sites with the aid of map given, apart from Vatican which is a bit further over the river. Breakfast was typical continental I suppose, quite sweet and not what you'd be use to in the UK, the selection wasn't that good either, cornflakes? looked like... more
