We had a great time in Rome! The apartment was perfect. It has a good location in a residential neighborhood (so if you are looking for a lot of bars and parties it might not be the best choice). The Pamphili park is nearby and train station Quattro Venti is 5 minutes from the apartment, so in about 15 minutes... More

Lovely room and caring service in a quiet environment, I highly recommend this guesthouse for a great stay in the Eternal City! Public transport is very close and it takes no more than a few minutes to reach the city centre and all its meanings to world's history and culture..! I will definitely be returning and staying here again on... More

This review comes ten months late but still serves as tribute to the considerate and caring welcome my wife and I received when we arrived in Rome early in the morning at the beginning of May 2014. We had made arrangements with Miriam to be picked up at the airport, but were surprised not to find the customary card with... More

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in the Purple Room at the Miriam Guesthouse. We were there to visit our granddaughter who's mother is attending university in Rome. So, our choice of the Miriam was based almost entirely on its proximity to their apartment. In my view, we got very lucky to have found the Miriam Guesthouse. The room... More

Really nice atmosphere. A Little problems with finding the park place for those, who arrives by car, but not impossible ;-) Great reception, really nice and helpful staff. Cameral, clear and beautiful rooms for the couples. I hope, I'll Come back herę ;-)

When I stayed in Miriam Guesthouse a week ago I had never been to Rome before. I was there for a Jewish wedding and the community where the bride and groom live was right there. There is also an exellent kosher cafe around the corner called Dolce Kosher (for those who care). The apartment was always clean, everyone who works... More

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
