The small boutique hotel though basic, well priced, and is situated perfectly. It is just a five minute walk to the Colosseum and a 10-15 minute walk to the Jewish Ghetto (which was important to us as we are Sabbath observers and wanted proximity to the kosher restaurants and synagogue). Our room was light, airy, newly renovated with comfortable beds,... More

You can't beat this location! Minutes from the Coliseum and next to a cute piazza with food at any time of the day (easy breakfast before touring and wonderful outside seating for a quick dinner), we really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was super helpful, helping us carry our luggage up the steep steps and giving us pointers and... More

We really enjoyed staying at HQH. The only reason why I gave the overall and the location rating a 4 is because it's really very noisy outside at night and in the early morning and the 4 floors of stairs you have to climb to get to your room. Otherwise it's the perfect place to stay over in Rome. The... More

Pros - excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Colosseo, we walked to all the major attractions - lots of nice restaurants and delis in Via Serpenti, Charity Café for Jazz/Blues just around the corner - we had a newly renovated comfortable room with a kitchenette and all the amenities facing the street - very clean - quiet location Cons -... The room we rented for 3 with kitchen was nice, modern and clean. Shower/bathroom has strong water pressure and modern as well. Beds were comfortable and location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk to the Colesseum, a 5 minute walk to the Metro Cavour train station. The apartment is on a nice residential neighborhood, a lot of nice restaurants... More

The only positives are the Location and that the personnel is polite and helpful. Otherwise the 'hotel' was a complete disappointment. Our room was tiny. There was no soundproofing and you could not sleep from the noise from outside. Hot water was not working properly. Drainage was smelling badly. Our friends' room was smelling cigarettes badly. The beds are camp-beds... More

I stayed here in October 2013 with my boyfriend and would definitely recommend this place. Location was great, very close to the Colesseum and also close to the Cavour metro stop. The front door is right opposite the American Apparel shop. Reception is up a few flights of stairs (it's true, the lift does not work) and once you check... More

Very good if you do not have lots of baggages as this on 4th floor without lift. We stayed there for two days. Location is so perfect.Everything was clean and good, warm welcome with juice bottles and muffins , in fact they provided it every day. Do not forget to try variety of pizzas from the next door restaurant 'PALLOTTI... More

Stayed here the first leg of our honeymoon. You can see the Colosseum from the front steps. Awesome location. Room was big enough for the two of us complete with kitchen area. Owners were pleasant. Not much of a bed and breakfast per say but we didn't mind as there was a cafe down the block. Would definitely recommend. Check... More

Stayed here for 3 nights! The room was ready for when we finally arrived (2 hours before check in) it was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, the kitchen area was useful, and the service was amazing!! Each day the room was cleaned, and restocked with towels, shampoo, shower caps, juice and muffins! Great touch especially after... More
